This series is going at the perfect speed. You're getting new equipment often enough to keep it interesting, but not so often that it seems "unrealistic". Definitely think the collectibles help, and I think you collect those at the right speed too. Keep it up!

Love the series, I have one Mod suggestion. There is a mod for the grape mulcher and plow that slightly increases its working size without physically changing its dimensions. I know its not the most realistic but its just wide enough to perfectly cover the area between the vines. I don't think it makes much difference on yield but aesthetically it makes a huge difference in how nice the vineyard looks.
@LezMarwick
@LezMarwick 3 жыл бұрын
If it's realistic, the vine spraying is coming out the side pf the sprayer and each pass sprays two rows, so by going down every row you are spraying each row twice. Also it shouldn't matter if the whole ground isn't covered because the grapes are only growing on small strips of the field, rather than the usual crops which grow all over the field.
@mrbillybob444
@mrbillybob444 3 жыл бұрын
So I did some work with this, and unfortunately your crop yield is based on the whole ground area of the grape crop, not just where the vine is. But, it was only about 3 to 5 percent difference, and I did not find doing the extra work worth it.
@edith.0301
@edith.0301 3 жыл бұрын
Leave a turnable amount of space between the new and old vines as it'll be easy to turn around if the harvester gets full OR You could shift the gapes to the northern side of the map if you could relocate the vines with no cost as it'll be nearer to the grape processing unit, and also buy a suitable field near the oil press AND, buy a 8000-10,000 litre trailer so that you can cart small amount of stuff with _speeeeed_ using the pickup

Love this series, One of my nightly routine to watch an episode. My only recommendations would be to move the bee's as they seem to get in the way. Possibly sell sheep more often to let them reproduce. Finally I would say maybe limit collectibles to 1 an episode as they do seem to jump your cash a tremendous amount. All and all though very pleased to keep watching more!
@jangjiao1
@jangjiao1 3 жыл бұрын
The progression is alright, neither to fast nor slow. There is only one thing i'd change. Sell the Sheep and the small Chicken coop. Build another big Chicken Coop where the sheep have been to feed both Chicken coops at the same time if possible and put the Sheep on the spot where the smal Chicken coop was. We may loose money that way but the eggs should be able to recover that fairly quickly i think. What do you and audience think about that?

I bought 37, plowed as much of the property into the field as I could, and planted grass. Put a big silage pit at one end. I cut it when it's ready and dump it in all year, cover it in December, and sell it in January. Also fertilized and mulched.

With regards to pallets getting stuck in the ground, there are some auto-loading trailer mods that are able to pick up the stuck pallets. So no need to dig them out with the landscaping tool or letting the pallet fight with the pallet fork :) Love the series btw. Can't wait for a "No man's land" type survival series!

Hello Daggerwin. I've been enjoying this series immensely! I appreciate the immersion in all of your series...the level you choose is perfect for me. I have found that when I ignore immersion, the game isn't quite as fun. I get so many ideas and inspirations from your let's plays and I wanted you to know I truly appreciate you sir. Not to go off-topic, but I recently purchased Euro Truck Simulator and was looking for videos for some tips and what do you know.....I came across Daggerwin driving across Iceland bound for Norway! Good morning mister Daggerwin. You talked about playstyle a little bit and just wanted to say that I like the way you play FS22 because it's a lot like how I would play aside from small details of course. I like how you start out with almost nothing and work your way up gradually with acquiring equipment, land, animals etc. Sure, you could give yourself unlimited amounts of money and get all the giant, fancy equipment but you don't do that. I worked on a farm with my dad, uncles and my grandpa before he passed away and the excitement I can hear in your voice over getting a new piece of equipment or a tractor is exactly how I felt whenever I got to operate a new or different machine than what I usually did and that's so awesome. Thank you for the awesome content. I always look forward to yours and Chainsaw's videos each morning. Greetings from Minnesota, USA!

Don’t worry about the way you play. I love watching you and yes sometimes you do stuff where I’m like man there’s such a faster way but you know what? That’s farming. There’s a baseline of what you have to do. Then there’s tons and tons of minuscule details that you can always do. Where there’s a farm there’s ALWAYS work to be done no matter how tedious so…enjoy you’re way of playing! I sure do

I would recommend selling the Sorgum and keeping a percentage of the barley for the chickens. Chickens consume food at an even rate, no matter the grain type. Sorgum is more valuable per 1000l than barley is

Daggerwin, I believe that the series is progressing at a good speed. Not stupidly fast where you have the largest equipment in the 15th episode. And not too slow where you have no animals and you aren't making much money. Once a few fields have been bought I believe that's when the series will start to kick off, looking forward to that day.

If you take the trees down on the edge of the grass field you could then plough under half the border up to the road making the field bigger thus a bigger yield . Could do the same with all the fields . Oh the trees in you planted woods are probably oak as a guess . Love watching your series I have the game but only been playing it for a week .

bit late on answering your call for feedback, hope you still read this. Regarding the speed of the series and the way you play: Just do you man. Skip winter if you have to. I'm sure at some point you won't be able to skip it anymore and the series is nice anyway. Only thing I would add, do an episode (when you have some cash) where you just go about tidying up the place. use landscaping to make your farm come more to life. you know, add some tyre tracks in that little cut through, proper parking for your trailers, fences, props. that would be nice :)

Hey, for the pallets that are stuck in the ground. Download one of the "auto loading trailer" mods. Even if you DON'T ever use it for your game (since it breaks reality a bit) you can at least use it to fix your glitched pallets without digging the ground or having other issues. Also for the mowing... There is a pair of mowers one similar to the front mount you have and the other is a dual wing that folds down on each side. You might normally run one in front and other in back HOWEVER, they can both be stacked on front. The wing mower directly to your front of the tractor (tractor needs front PTO) and the smaller mower can be powered off the wing mower. Then you can throw a tedder on the back of the tractor OR a windrower to instantly toss it out for hay or row it up for silage collection.

Aaaargh! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! - *Wilhelm scream* - - *various exclamations of despair* - You have bought a Square Baler? Nice one though; CaseIH red and everything (It's not quite Massey, but still red)... And yeah, square balers are very nice since they let you keep rolling while it just churns out bale after bale in a continuous stream of squared off practicality... But.... Have you heard of our Lord and Saviour, the Vicon FastBale? It'll bale AND wrap, continuously. It'll calculate an appropriate top speed, set your tractor at that and you can just keep on rollin' baby... Seriously, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one...

No There's no point to doing that, If he needs more time, he can either start the day at an earlier time like 6:00 AM, or reduce the speed of the game to 5 or 3 ig seconds/ irl second.

Series progress is excellent don't go quicker or slower thin its perfect i really think would get long windid and boring if you slow down. Think add more chickens at the olive grove in the future.
