I love Pinter’s brushwork. This deck goes on my wish list.

I’ve had this deck for a long time, lovely reminder to pick it up more often. Not an easy read for me, but I love the art, and it has some of my favourite depictions. For anyone interested, without getting too specific, the Hungarian pronunciation of his name sounds a lot like Ferents Pintir

I live in Portsmouth and LOVE Deadwick's! I agree, they really have a great selection of decks and it's so hard to leave without one. I always go there for something specific and leave with loads of things I didn't know I needed! If you didn't get a chance, Spirit Wise Herbs and Magick is another great place to check out next time you're in town. 🖤

Oooh I received a free random card when i purchased the Murder of Crows tarot and it was that Strength card (well, the artwork from it). I put it on my fridge because it was so beautiful. Very interesting deck! Love hearing your take

Hi, I really like the lighting you always have in your videos... Can you please share with me what you are using? Especially with the days getting darker earlier and earlier... Thanks 😊

Racine, if looks could kill! You look stunning per usual. Id love to know where you got that top. So, Dark Wood Tarot is my wifey, and sadly she is not holding up well & the book completely fell apart within a few days of purchasing. Thank you for sharing your interesting new deck.

Had to laugh with your word choice of ‘unctuous’ and the Hanged Man image…..For me the deck has great beauty, with a few thorns. I already own it and you inspired me to pull it out. I like the parallel world it portrays.

I had an older version of this deck, called the tarot of the imagination. I did not connect with it, I found it very disturbing, especially because there were Nazi soldiers showing up in some of the cards and a lot of images of soldiers, bombs, coming maybe from the painter facing the horrors of WW2 and then of the Soviet invasion of Budapest (where he lived) in 1956. I think he also had painted the Minors for that version. If I remember well (I owned the deck many years ago)The Majors are unchanged in this new version but the Minors are very different! I greatly prefer this one and could even go for it.Thank you Raecine for showing another interesting deck and reawakening my interest in it .

wow! I did not know there was an earlier version, that does indeed sound disturbing.

So off topic but indeed, my poor poor Dark Wood deck is looking so worn and I'm very careful always. It's my home husband deck, just accepted that but now with the quality 😭 This deck is just as thick as Murder of Crows, seems like the same cardstock. Also isn't this one the deck of which you get a card of in every Lo Scarabeo deck?
