I just love it how Mafia 1 represents a guy that doesnt want to be a criminal and trickles into that life and Mafia 2 represents a guy that is more than willingly becoming a criminal and liking it. The part with Vito getting sick of hard work shows the opposite mirror image of Tommy. This shows that the creators are good story writers.

Best possible twist ending with a gorgeously sad instrumental song. It's so heart punching. I'm one of those who wants to believe we see joe as one of the armed guards that comes out of the car at the end of 3. A few scenes of this game are burned into my brain. The hatchet murder scene 8:10 is one. That's just woo all sorts of brutal. you know it's a good game when the story twists stick with you

Original It had like 4-5 multiple endings in M2 I don’t now how I feel about that i like one ending in those types of games it fits more, mafia 2 I know many hate that cliffhanger ending including me but as I got older it was an powerful ending and sad it might not beat mafia 1 ending but both was powerful! I hope mafia 4 can do that too but kinda diff ending to first 2. And that mafia lifestyle a sad ending fits more and its diff from other games, that’s why it’s a special underrated masterpieces . Why I don’t mention 3 it had bad multiple endings choices and everyone felt forced and unrealistic but of course Vito ruling and Lincoln running away was my ending. Best part about mafia 3 was near the end after killing Sal, Lincoln meet Leo and Joe outside the casino that was powerful and kinda nostalgia. Mafia 3 I just want to say this it was a very good game a masterpiece but a really bad mafia game if we look at the title and the depth

I remember the first time i ever played this game, i hopped on my older brothers save file because it was his game lol, and it was right when vitos house gets set on fire and you gotta escape i thought this is the coolest shit ever and i started it up on my account and finished it. I’ve always had a soft spot for mafia 2 I honestly believe its one of the best games ever made, yea it has its flaws but i feel like this game always effortlessly pulls me into an era I’ve never experienced, or felt, and just give me a little taste of what it could’ve been like if i was born way back when. That & uh joe is the most charming guy ever i mean come on.

Mafia 1 and 2 are pure masterpieces I loved everything about them both with one or 2 flaws in them, but the third one has quite a lot of flaws. I love the mafia series all together I’m a fan the games are great besides 3, I would love to see a 4th game done better than the 3rd one.

I actually love 3 and think of it more like a spin off than a proper third game. It retains the excellent story/writing from the series and expands the gameplay in many ways. I plan on covering it in the future

Why does everybody is using "underrated" as word in every single video and situation , when it comes to art as a book , an album ,a movie or even a videogame , as an artist you take a lot of risk putting your work in the market to be sold , people may like it or not , you can make plenty of money or just not enough, perhaps it's the way you are making a living or just a hobby and you really don't need the money but this is all about. If you're satisfied with what you art has achieved , Why do you want or need to people , the industry and the media to acknowledge it? Why would you want your art to be famous and a mainstream ? They already plenty of those , and definitely no one wants everything on the current entertainment industry to be the same, where everything it's about making the rich people just richer.

this is just a big interactive cutscene it was pointless to make it open world because the wolrd was empty the only good ideas that this game brought was the lockpicking before stealing a car and changing the plate number to drop the notoriety and changing gears when driving the story carries the game in the first half because of the unknown factor but it turns out to be a bit generic

We should have got Vito dlc and rumors say it was scrapped in mafia 3 cuz 2k rushed them! I remember when I had twitter Im not kidding I tagged Vito’s actor and said “Vito dlc soon👀” Rick liked my tweet and that made me think was it in the plans really originally? My idea of a dlc is Vito’s life after empire bay the time gap between those 17 years I want to see how Vito struggle cuz we always see him as a cold character surely after Joe he was depressed and drunk himself drunk, stressed that’s why he looks like in his 60s and he is just in his early 40s! We could have seen a diff side of Vito after losing his home, his family, his best friend Joe, and being forced to work for Sal it would be cool to play as Vito in his early days under Sal being the Don for him, seeing! Also Donovan and Burke should also have a dlc of their own alongside Vito, it was too much Lincoln

Mafia 1 is frustrating While Mafia 2 is fun,not frustrating Yeah i get what you mean I think mafia 1 "being frustrating and too realistic" is the reason why not many people are ready to give it a go And since mafia 2 is kind of a movie like experience, people maybe preferred the "movie like experience" more and were more accepting towards it than 1. Too bad, it did not have a long campaign as 1 And you have to agree that The series has some serious potential to compete with the gta series. I mean if you compare gta 4 and mafia 2 both are equally good but mafia series does not get as much attention as it deserves And devs should also be blamed for this. They are just not as ambitious as rockstar games

Maybe hardcore players like to challenge their skills but in Mafia's case, its just too hard Thats where i feel like mafia 2 shinned They gave the option to choose difficulty. I feel like gamaplay wise the new mafia 1 is way better

The only hate I've seen for Mafia II is from more casual gamers who bitch it isn't a carbon copy of GTA IV with a bigger world and more (pointless) open world activities. Mafia II's relatively small world and linear story focus is what I love about it. I just think the game was too short. It could've had way more chapters.

I can only force myself playing it with self made reshade, because the graphics looks super bad...The game feels unfinished that's it... Dlcs are short, but I liked em....
