@@tovi0071 I’ve had the MPC ONE for a little over a year now, but I also had the MPC 1000 for many years which has a similar workflow. Before I bought the one, I did also use the MPC software for a few years with the MPC studio. The good thing about the MPC ecosystem is knowledge of one device mostly carries over to the next.

Dope. I been makin beats for almost 20 years now but i always left mixing and mastering to others, but now ima just do it myself because im sick of others making everything so loud and mixing my 90s style beats as if they were modern trap or crap like that, it doesnt sound right. Anyways, my question is what DB do you get your beat to (pre mastering)? And Vocals? And then what DB with the vocals ontop of the beat? Pre mastering that is. I like things simple, i see ppl talkin bout lufs n crap like that that i dont care to know, ima old head and wanna keep it as simple as possible, and oldschool as possible. Anyways, i appreciate it, and keep it up you are one of maybe 2 or 3 other mpc one beat makers on all of youtube that i think is good, most others just suck tbh and use wack ass downloaded drums lol.

Sorry if I didn't understand correctly, but you'll want to duplicate the sample, then use that new sample on a different track.

how do seperate the high pass filter sample "program" and low pass filter "program" across tracks. so when you make chnages to either track it doesn't mess up the program edit settings in the filt/envlp tab?

You'll want to duplicate your sample, then on the new track add the new duplicated sample. This will allow you to add effects, filters and sample edits independent of the previous track/sample.
