I almost hydro locked a Subaru STi years back. We had so much rain in Cali, like 2ft of water everywhere. It sucked in a bit of water and stalled on the road. Some dude helped me push it out the way and then asked me for money haha. Disconnected the bottom section of the intake and made it a short ram for a bit. It ran after I let it sit for a few. I still got the dash cam vid haha.

Using a hydroshield would reduce the effectiveness of the cold air intake he is using. Also hydroshield doesn't make it waterproof, just more water resistant ​@youngfreekicker479
