I really enjoy your channel! Your reviews are always so informative. It’s refreshing to listen to a perfume reviewer who has actually worn the fragrance and gotten to know it. Those fragrances from Sweden sound really interesting. I have been craving more watery fragrances this spring, and had a sample of Lelabo Baie 19, which is not something I would normally gravitate toward, but it was so well blended almost in a bit of a medicinal way.Amouage Woman, sounds beautiful!!!Wishing you all the best with your dating, job, and home!♥️😘

Thank you! I am actually proud of little Sweden that has a few good perfumers and perfume houses. Our population is only 10 MSEK and our culture is one where not a lot of perfume is worn. It is not a thing like in France and Italy or the Middle East. I would put us a bit over South East Asia. We are discrete but perhaps not as discrete as the Japanese, Chinese and Korean. So I have heard. Have not been to these countries, but read about this when looking into the Korean brand Borntostandout. I would love to see some hard facts/statistics on differences between countries regarding perfume usage. I find that super interesting. Maybe I need to dig some more. Will try to get my nose on Baie 19. Thank you for commenting!

Hi Kicki. It's nice to see you again, and I appreciated hearing about the fragrances you've been wearing. Within the past four weeks, I've discovered some fragrances I like, and I added them to my collection, e.g. Prada "Marienbad", Histoires de Parfums "Encens Roi", Nez Parfums "Adorem" (which might be one of my favorite fragrances), and Prada "Amber Pour Homme Intense". In regards to Taylor Swift: I've never heard anything she's made, and I probably never will. I know music well, and I feel that music began dying in the early to mid 90s, and then it officially died in the early 2000s. I can't like most of the music which has been made since the early to mid 90s, so I don't listen to most of it. I wasn't listening to any music for about 19 years (starting in 2005), but in Jan. of this year, I started to listen to music again, but mostly what I used to listen to. I plan to have just a temporary relapse with music.

Thank you for commenting! I haven't tried the fragrances you mentioned. Might have tried the Hdp Encens Roi a while back. I had a long period where I didnt' listen much to music, and honestly, I don't listen that much now either. it is a shame really, because I am actually quite musical and haven't done anything with it. I do play the piano, but am very mediocre. I do too many things and never excel at anything I guess. But have a good life with a great range of different activities and hobbies.

Hi Kicki. I don’t buy expensive perfumes most of the times, but I have bought some that are $50.00 to $70.00. I have about 10 Guerlain bottles including two bottles of Samsara. I also have Shalimar in the EDT version. The bottle is beautiful, and it is still full because I hardly wear it. Take Care. 😊

@thehonestperfumereviewer63364 ай бұрын
Thank you for those kind words. I would like to try more from Pierre Guillaume, but one that I have and have worn a lot is Dhjenné 22. My son loves it too. It is light cacao and myrrh fragrance with mint, some white flower and wheat. Really special and refreshing on a hot day. I recommend it. I think mine is the edt version and that one might not still be around.

Hi Kicki! I am glad you are doing well and it's fun to hear about what you are up to. The only Mancera I have is Holidays, which I do love for summer. I would love to find a sample of the Adamo perfume. That sounds like something I would like. oxJulia
@thehonestperfumereviewer63364 ай бұрын
I was wrong about Adamo being Italian, it is from the United Arab Emirates. I think you would really like it. Probably not that easy to get ahold of. They don't sell it anywhere in Sweden. Not sure where my friend bought it. I have tried Holidays, I remember liking that one too. Just looked it up on Fragrantica and the notes look great. I have other wonderful beachy fragrances, but it would be nice to sniff Holidays again. I am going to ask my friends if anyone can bring a sample of it to the meetup the 16th.

Hello Kicki! Nice to see you around giving your honest opinions 😊. I don't know if you'd find it interesting for a video, but I'd love to hear about perfume/fragrance related fairs you have there in Sweden (like the one you've commented briefly on this occasion or others you've attended). I'm curious to know how is the fragrance community up there from your point of view 😁. Btw, do you happen to have an instagram account? Have a great week!
@thehonestperfumereviewer63364 ай бұрын
I could talk more about our fragrance community in upcoming videos! Thank you for the tip. I have an Instagram account with my name Kicki Theander but hardly ever post anything there anymore. It just isn't my platform. There are few perfume related posts on my Instagram, but not too much.

I love Strangers! Is from Prin Louros ( he made the new Bat and Sloth for Zoologist) and also has another 2 lines Prin and Prissana. I love yuzu soda, salted green mango , and sweet farewell. The Prissana line is heavier, more in the line of Salome for example. I have Mandarava and is very nice.

Bat and Sloth are not my favorite fragrances now, but I might get there one day, who knows? Thank you for commenting. This Kira Kira one was a pretty light and easy wear, but didn't really get me excited. Thank you for commenting!

A friend convinced me to listen to her album Folklore, I’ve enjoyed some of her music ever since…she’s a brilliant, poetic songwriter. Acknowledged by all the greats for this very reason. The fluffy pop songs played on the radio aren’t the best examples of her work. She wrote a beautiful song about her grandmother, Marjorie, who passed before her fame. Marjorie was a less famous opera singer. She included her grandmothers music from old vinyls in the song. You should look it up, it’s beautiful. She’s philanthropic, kind to others and speaks out in support of other artists. An all round good human being and likely why a lot of parents think she’s a positive influence. While I’m not a “swiftie” I respect this young woman. Nice to see a video from you again, I’ve missed them. I always enjoy hearing your views, different perspectives, you’re so natural and easy to watch.

Hello Rich Mitch! What is the story behind your alias? Why is it "Rich"? And how did the duck become a thing?
@RichMitch4 ай бұрын
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 hello! Rich is actually short for Richard, which is my real first name. I use Rich because it rhymes with Mitch, which is a shortened version of my last name. "Rich Mitch" is catchy and internet friendly, I think. The duck is just a funny picture I found and used for my profile picture, I had it for years before I even started making videos. It is cropped from an image of a giant inflatable duck that was a piece of art by Florentijn Hofman, I just thought it was fun and a striking and recognisable image for a profile picture. Think I've been using it since 2015

When I moved back to South East Asia, I knew I couldn't travel as frequently since my country's currency has been weak for the longest time. Its something I've gotten used too for the past 10 years.
