I really love this idea and it looks nice. My home office is a very organic style, I just wish I had a set up that could use something like this. I agree on the moss poles and only have 4 spread around the house now versus the 10 I used to have.

Thank you! I definitely think it looks better now the plants are on it. Maybe you could try it on a smaller scale? Indeed the moss poles are just too much in my opinion, especially with a larger collection, but still so widely used for a reason!

This is inspiring. I just looked online and it is possible to buy cork bark tiles or tubes etc and i love the idea of trying something on those on a smaller scale as i don't have space for a cork wall. I love the idea though and that it is more sustainable, hopefully.

Hi Amy. Thank you for an interesting video. I’m finding it so fascinating to watch the behaviour of plants, as you’ve spoken about here. The plant I watch every day is my Hoya Krimson Princess which is now hanging beside a marble queen. The vine of the hoya is wrapping around the macrame hanger and I think in time it might try to go across and join her mate next door. I find it quite amusing to watch how the plant is now securely climbing and therefore putting out leaves. I just love it❤🌿

Good ideas there and you give me some things I might try out. Thinking of the cork type moss pole setup. Just wrap the cork around a wire frame. May go for a large diameter and a bigger pot where I can put several plants at the base.

Great to hear that! I love that idea as well, I find stability is a hard thing to figure out when you try to go with wider things. However I have seen some interesting set ups by others! Good luck experimenting ☺️✨🌱

Very useful information! I wonder how easily the roots will come back out of the cork if you want to propagate it, or if you would have to pull the cork down and destroy it.

Do you think this would work with a monstera? Also did you spray or water the cork at all to encourage the plant to attach?

Possibly but they are such big plants the weight may become an issue! And no I don’t spray or add water to the cork at all ☺️

Hi both! This hasn’t happened at all. The aerial roots don’t go through the cork board, they really just stick to the surface and grow laterally. So I think the drywall is safe as long as you have enough cork board to cover it!
