"Don't spoil the wonder with haste" -- Amen. I also got bit by the lumber shortage and astronomical prices a month or two ago building a wrap around deck on my house. Worth it though considering there's nothing else to do!

Yeah Tolkien has been an inspiration to me in a lot of ways, especially that quote when I am stressing about any mistakes or delays in the building. I also like hearing that so many people have been able to do projects durring the shutdowns and social distancing. Even if it means more expencive wood for me.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems funny to say but it has been hard to pull out the camera even for these short one take update videos. I'll keep doing what I can. Good to hear from you.

I have enjoyed watch all of your video's and I really like what you have been able to accomplish ! The one thing I could not hear correctly is the name of the company that supplied the kit. Please let me know the contact info, I am considering building a round house like your. Thanks again and the best of luck with all you do. Jim

You look exhausted and tired but you guys are doing a great job so keep on being a trooper I was with you guys when you build the first structure step by step I think that was more difficult to me cuz it was very the land was new but now you guys can take your time this this pandemic has everyone resend to try to get a lot of things done before winter but then everybody is out of everything you know shipment shipment is coming slow but with all of that do not forget to go out and vote I'm trying to do your censor before the end of this month but the house looks wonderful happy to see you hope you can make more videos so we could see the progress of the second floor and lots of love from New York sending you lots and lots and lots of love and lots and lots and lots of hugs oh are you going to build a chicken coop?
@Simplegroundlife3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, the stress in this build right now is the inches of rain that are on the way in the next month or so. I just need to add on a good dry hat. I do want to build a chicken coup that isn't the back of the camper. I'm planning on using some of the wood from the sawmill. It will have to be done after the house though. They have plenty of clean dry space in the camper in the mean time.

addition building, homeschooling, and gardening? video-ing is a lot to add on, glad to see all is well there. drought in new england as well, so everything's looked a bit tired, hopefully more plentiful rain next year, or at least normal

I'm glad you reached out. It has been a crazy rush. I have some rainwater collection for the garden but I took it down to add on to the house. I think I would be doing just fine if I had it up and running. A good sign for drought years to come. Best wishes.

Thanks for reaching out. I'll consider it, though over time I have become more private about sharing my littles on KZbin. They are definitely learning the skill even if their videos never make it to the public.

I didn't mean they had to he on. Have them walk aroud separate for like 5 minutes with their I view and perspective of everything. You then can do voice over and tell us what they see. You can turn the comments off.

Since your buying lumber did the saw mill not work out?
@Simplegroundlife3 жыл бұрын
The saw mill is working grand. I can only use stamped lumber for the structural part of my residential build in this county. That is why I'm buying lumber.
