Great content of honoring the land to help you and others live a healthy life! The cottage is a great way to share that idea to others.

Just gorgeous. It's a bit of a shame that farms like this have to integrate a bed & breakfast or event aspect to their business, but what can you do? What a world we'd live in with hundreds and thousands of such farms and the young families who operate them filling our countrysides.

The establishment don't want us growing our own produce. They want us totally reliant on them. We can see the establishment does not speak for the people, their priorities would be food production and to wipe food poverty out in the U.K. That is not in the interest of the establishment. The covert destruction of our society is their main goal.

Here in San Marcos, Texas we have rocks for a yard. Been building raised beds and bringing in lots of dirt and compost! Seeing places like this make me long for dirt....❤️
@kathrynmettelka72162 жыл бұрын
Here in Austin, TX, there are people farther out from the center of town who envy our soil because we have the tiniest bit of topsoil, whereas they only have caliche -- mostly decomposing limestone. When I started gardening here, the most important thing was to enrich the soil. I collected dozens of bags of leaves neighbors threw away every fall, bought mulch and compost and gradually have some beds that plants will grow in. This year I hope to have a cutting garden.

The trees look very established: how old were you when you planted them? Or did you modify a maturing environment? Either way, looks fantastic, glad to see you embracing permaculture. Once we realise that we need fewer human beings and a slower more balanced way of life, permaculture will become the new tech industry. I hope that your example inspires others…
@TapoNothFarm2 жыл бұрын
Hi there - some of the native broadleaves were planted by the previous owners, perhaps three to five years before we arrived, there are some old trees (50 years old) and then we have been planting fruit trees/shrubs, hedges etc for the past ten years. We have had to landscape the tree plantings made by previous owners to work with our needs.
