For those non-Arabic speakers who liked the song let me tell you that the translation stole half the sweetness and tenderness of the lyrics. Fayruz, is the best singer sang in Lebanese dialect. The Lebanese is one of the sweetest Arabic dialects. And, Arabic always sounds magical, especially, when you understands it.

Arabs dwelled in all deserts not just the ones in arabia, deserts as far as 100km from ancient metropoles like cteisephon or Damascus were populated with arabs.
