I have no idea why they spent so much time on all the other characters rather than on Ana and Mariana. Ana's character showed development but Mariana was completely lost, she essentially goes back to Ana because she was disappointed with Ferran and her own lack of success. This messed up everything in the plot Ludwicka did try to sttablish the chemistry again but Paulina was just not synchronizing with her.

I think she realized that she was still in love with Ana. She could have given Ferran another chance, seems like she looked for an excuse to break up with him. Her heart was not in it and then she met the kids mother. I don’t think she was ever in love with Ferran I think she convinced herself she was so she acted like she was.

This was the most frustrating season. Whenever their scenes came up they lasted a minute and that's pushing it. They were more concerned about Pablo's cockroach game and his relationship with Cy. Mariana showed no interest in Ana the whole season, she made her choice clear and then suddenly she loves Ana at the end. I was at the point of wanting Elena and Ana to hook up. Arg.

The actress who plays Mariana didn’t act on her best performance she was a little bit out of the character..to be honest Ludwika is far more talented but I was expecting at least to see some actor to actor connection in their scenes. These two have an undoubtedly visual chemistry that is awesome to the construction of their characters but it’s not all. Paulina wasn’t in sync with her co star .. they didn’t share a scene talking about the night they slept together so in my opinion this was an important part of the narrative they left out .. ( we also can notice some writing problems ) when there aren’t dialogues I think the actors need to show their characters feelings using body language … a glance .. a touch..and Paulina clearly didn’t understand the assignment. She is a good actress but not experienced as Ludwika. Ludwika carried her in every scene of this season. Actually it reminds me Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny from the X files …. Mostly of their scenes were great because they both knew how to use the body acting. I was watching this season and it bothered me a lot 😂 the lack of attention to those little details who makes the whole story more interesting to watch.

Just finished season 3. It was such a packed season overall, and not in the good way. They could have done with less fillers or subplots. And i feel like I would have believed that ending more if there was more focus on redeveloping Mariana's feelings for Ana in particular, especially after that whole relationship with Ferran that she went above and beyond for. I rlly don't know what it was about that ending that made it so awkward? Someone mentioned lack of chemistry, which might be it. Season 1 they had so much chemistry together, what happened to it :(

They flopped the ending, but basically the point was that Ana could've gotten the girl if she'd told her how she felt when she realized she was in love with her. She had to let go of her need to control, and to accept her new life, to move forward, and Mariana needed to stop depending on other people. They either needed another episode or less subplots to get it done, and they didn't. It made the end feel like their kiss was either for old times sake or a promise of something more. Who knows?

Okay look hear me out, as a lesbian myself, I'm m happy they got together in the end and it's probably one of those rare sapphic telenovelas that didn't have one of the main character dying or have them hide their queerness after the end like previous of other LGBT telenovelas that did in the past decades. But I feel like this show could've added another two seasons to build their relationships all slowly and well developed. I feel like the sex scene was unnecessary in their part, they could still show their love for each other without sexual contacts. Overall, I'm happy that my ship has sailed!

I agree 100 %. The sex scene wasn't necessary, they could've shown some other way that their feelings are mutual. It was lazy writing. I would've loved instead to see Mariana's process of realising she likes Ana back. To me, there wasn't any indication as to what she feels. Think that's why they felt they had to include this. Because other than her having that conversation with Elena about their sleeping together after it happened, there was nothing even remotely convincing me she liked (never mind loved) Ana back.

I agree with you right on, I had a feeling the show runners added the sex scene was to show the audience that they really are two sapphics who are in love with each other, because if they were to have a slow burn romance interaction like duaric pairs (man x woman) where they bonded all wholeheartedly together, i(n fact, they did that so well in the first early season) - the world will still confused their relationship as something platonic or think there's was no indication they're in love with each other and are just "best friends" or "like sisters" or say it's "too forced" despite all the scenes being shown along with hints and subtexts, so they added that sex scene to avoid sapphic erasure to prove that, but that was still unnecessary, they still could've kissed each other (which they do at the end anyway) to show their love for each other. Agree with the last part, nothing ever convinced me that Mariana ever loved her back this season like she did in the previous two season, it feels like she owes her for everything and I feel like it's their age gap, their daughters, and Ana's experience with the world, those led her to stay with her in the end.

​​​@@nicatine yeah, absolutely and completely with you there. Mariana was in love with Ferrán the whole time Ana was figuring out who she was. The acting on Ludwika's part there was obviously stunning, and I believed everything she portrayed. I went from genuinely hating her by the second episode of season one to adoring her and wanting to just give her a warm hug. Her character was either written a lot better than Mariana's---or she took it upon herself to make up for the subpar writing in her own way, conveying exactly what she thought would've gone on in Ana's head. Mariana on the other hand...phew. I mean...Christ. After thinking about it for the past couple of days, I'm almost at a point where I think she didn't deserve Ana in the end. (Or rather, the other way around?) Ana, throughout the course of the show, essentially did a 180. From being all about looks and elegance and being always correct in what she does, she went on to not caring what others think about her sexuality, her (now unconventional) family, who she is. There was such good character development there! Plus, she was helping Mariana every step of the way without the other girl knowing. With the job, I mean. Something the old her would never have even considered. She would rather have sabotaged it. And then...it never really gets acknowledged when Mariana finds out? Like, she says thanks, but...meh? First season Mariana would have been absolutely flipping out. Would have been at Ana's feet. Would have been pining. Realising, 'oh, hey, maybe she does feel something.' She'd be happy! But there was nothing of the sort. This, what we got instead, was just...ugh! Frustrating. that's the only word that really hits the nail on the head, I think. It was frustrating that the whole setting and the story itself and everything was sort of perfect, yet the chemistry was missing simply because they didn't have nearly enough screen time together to make us viewers believe there was mutuality to that love Ana felt. There needed to be some sort of indicator, ANY indicator at all, like we've both already stated---and I think we needed an extra few episodes after the Ferrán breakup for that---that Mariana had genuinely rediscovered her feelings for Ana, and that that in turn made everything click into place for both of them. If only that had happened, it could've made me feel much more positively about the ending. This way, it just felt...off. Unnatural. And I don't mean that in the anti-gay way, lol. Just in a relationship dynamics way. Also, idk when I started writing novels in the KZbin comment section. Sorry about that.

The sex scene was so wack. The entire season lacked the intimacy of the 1st season. The end should’ve been a going away party, because no way either of these women are going anywhere without saying goodbye to the babies. Mariana should’ve confessed her love, Ana had already put herself out there.

Leyendo los comentarios me doy cuenta de que mis pensamientos sobre esta tercera y última temporada no estaban tan alejados de la realidad… La verdad yo le hecho la culpa a la producción, ¿qué pasó con el guión que LAS PROTAGONISTAS APENAS si tienen escenas juntas y esenciales para la historia? Sí, Ana y Mariana tenían que crecer o desarrollarse individualmente, pero eso no significaba cortar escenas de ellas juntas. Esta temporada tenía tanto potencial, no sé qué rayos les pasó. Mucho relleno de otros personajes que no nos importaban al público o que para estas alturas (ya siendo los últimos episodios) no tenia sentido que se enfocaran en eso en vez del desarrollo de las protagonistas como pareja. Qué decepción.

Tbh, if straight relationships can have forced and bad writings for their m/f love story, what makes this sapphic relationship any different for a f/f love story? I don't mind any kinds of LGBT+ representations anymore the older as I get, we'd do anything to be on TV screen. They have their own flaws and they each tell a different story that shouldn't be compared to another. Maybe this story wasn't for you and that is valid, but for me, I enjoyed this story overall.❤

El guión muy pobre la verdad, pero Ludwika saco la cara por las dos, con poco entregó mucho, osea si hubo un cambio en su personaje o por lo menos te hizo creer que Mariana cambio algo en ella, Paulina por otro lado estaba en otro plano, no le creías nada y su personaje se quedó estancado con esa relación con Ferrán para dejarlo a un cap del final, se notó la entrega más de una (Ludwika) que de la otra.

Que desperdicio de lo que pudo ser una hermosa historia! No hubo química entre ellas, y todo fue muy forzado. Se encuentran y se besan en la mejilla...Ni siquiera en el final Mariana mira a Ana. La historia de amor no tiene procesos creíbles. Tanto detalle en cosas insignificantes (hasta en la caca del perro) y nada en el argumento del vínculo entre ellas. Una decepción. Y en el final de la 2da temporada también me decepcioné porque lo sentí casi como una falta de respeto a las les...pero esa es mi perspectiva

they are sweet and im glad they got a happy ending! but Ana's love always felt real and genuine and we can see the evolution of her feelings over the seasons, however Mariana's abosultely not. There was zero indication or vibe that she had feelings for Ana the entire 3rd season and even most of he second season, and suddenly, she loves Ana too. They didnt have the same chemistry and pull to each other that they did in season1, there was no indication between them that they were in love. So them being together felt out of the Blue. If we would have seen the feeling returned by Marianna and her not being in love with Ferran the whole time she was fake with Ana and even slept with her, that would have made it more realistic. Great job on the actor who played Ana, other than that poor writing and development, of their relationship, mainly on Marianna part .

Me parece que la juventud e inexperiencia dominaba por completo a Mariana, Ana por otro lado es una mujer sensata, establecida en todos los sentidos, que sí bien es cierto que la transición en el amor le costó un poco de trabajo aceptarlo, una vez hecho no dudó, se plantó al darse cuenta de quién era y a quién quería, sin embargo a Mariana la siento como que es de esas personas inestables, cambiantes, como un niño que se entretiene con algo y después cambia de parecer al encontrar otra novedad.

Una preciosura Ludwika Paleta. En cuanto a esta historia, hay algo tan inverosímil. Mariana es la bisexual y resulta que termina rechazando a este bombón?! Por favor! Y en el último capítulo Ana se declara (por segunda vez!) y de la nada Mariana le dice que también la ama🙄... Qué mal armado todo esto y con semejante estrella que es Ludwika, creo que la desperdiciaron. Qué pesar. Si disfruté ver esta serie fue únicamente por ella❤.

Hola, super de acuerdo, había tanto para hacer una serie increíble, pero el director se enfoco en desarrollar cosas equis como la relacion de Mariana y Ferran que olvido lo importante, me hubiera encantado ver más cosas entre Ana y Mariana para decir "con razón se enamoraron", sin embargo, se lo sacaron de la nada, tuvieron en las manos a semejante actriz como Ludwika y la desperdiciaron por completo ¬¬

This 3rd season had too many moving parts. And I've watched the ending a couple times and STILL I'm asking myself "did Ana get the girl or not? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Ana has made it clear she is willing to and wanting to explore her feelings toward Mariana but she's all over the place 🥴. I feel Ana really because she's in love with someone who, on the outside looking in, doesn't match her. But for whatever reason her heart desires, smh. I just feel had another actress played that role we would have a clearer picture as to where their relationship stood.
