Oh sweet Ana, stunning once again, I heard her play the Aranjuez with the Montana Symphony, she raised the bar on that one. The best part is that unlike many of her contemporaries, Ana is very approachable and very sweet on top of being a sensational guitarist.

I prefer John William's version which is less fast/rushed and played with an incomparable accurate technical precision, sublime articulation and brilliant clarity of the voices. This prelude is the most demanding of the Bach preludes for guitar/lute. When it comes to other musicians playing the prelude BWV 1006, Hillary Hahn and Arthur Grumieaux come to my mind as wonderful interprets.

Good, very competent mechanically, but still, no 'feeling', needs a more 'wavy', slowing and accelereating technique which she employs from time to time. Her "Serenata del Mar" was more the kind of performance I love.
