A rather appropriate title for Anaal. Most of their album covers are black and white like a xeno.

It's really hard to find interviews where the guys from AN just get to talk by themselves so thank you for this! It's very interesting to hear their perspective and process.

It is nice to see Dave Hunt talking like a regular person, I honestly thought he was a deranged lovecraftian monster. Well, its kind of a bummer, but on the other hand at least it gives me some comfort that I am not going insane

in my opinion this band is some of the best extreme metal. you guys are inspirational. and i hope you come and play the states more often. I've seen you guys in CO springs and Oslo and both those sets were phenomenal and awesome.

It's great! I don't know if it's their most extreme, but it's certainly one of their most cohesive and well put together. I reviewed it for Banger TV, if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYndiIB9rpmHmtU

I like how normal these guys are, you really wouldn't think they're in such an extreme metal band, or even metal for that matter. Shows you don't need to dress, act or look a certain way to like something.

Boss, Napalm Death and Anaal Nathrakh lean in completely different directions. You can't compare them, considering Napalm have a strong punk influence while Anaal have a black metal influence.

I'm a huge fan but I don't like the new album so much, in fact I feel quite negatively about it. It's like joystream and depravity favours albums mixed together but weak. The dubstep synth has to go as well, even if I love the electronic/industrial vibes. I hope desperately for a return to form on the next album. Again, I love all their albums, just not the last one.

Godamnit I am so disappointed and pleased at the same time. The first time I heard Anaal Nathrakh I figured this band must look like a bunch of demonic monsters, absolutely, an over the top insane version of a mixture of grindcore and black-metal. Blood must be belching from their stage, but no, it's two fat british dudes with rational minds about what good music is :(
