I really love your work and your videos. A book you might want to check out is NORMAN ROCKWELL: BEHIND THE CAMERA. It is all about how Rockwell composed his paintings, and then directed photo shoots to get his reference photos. The book is full of photos of going from a thumbnail sketch, to casting, doing the photo shoot, preliminary drawings and paintings, and then the final paintings. A lot of people don't realized that the paintings he did for magazine covers were actually quite large. The book is available on AZ used for about $10. Your local library probably also has a copy.

beautiful painting and great video and storytelling, this reminded me of my own very similar thoughts about painting and storytelling through them, it really does require so much studying i dont know where to start even, what books do you recommend?

thank you! honestly, I haven’t read an books specifically talking about storytelling through paintings. I’ve just been observing paintings that really speak to me and figure out why that is ☺️
