The drive in Washington Park brought me to tears, tears for a dream🤩 of spending whatever I have left of my journey (I'm 76), in a such a lovely, perfect (for me) place of Anacortes. Many locals have kind of an east coast accent that makes it sound like they're saying "Anal-coitus?", like they're just politely offering some intimately invasive, back-end cleaning services.

Didn't the founder envision Anacortes being like the new york of the west? Just learned that recently. Also, sense this film was done, this lovely small town has become more to the term of a small to moderate city life. Not sure how much longer we can call it a small town. It still has the vibe of a small town but the building are coming.

@@AboardSeaOasis I grew up in Bothell. I agree with you. It was the country back then and had that small town feel. Overpriced apartments and Mcmansions now. Thinking of moving north. Would you mind one more person. I like squid fishing crabbing n clam digging. Plus back in the day I was a patches pal when Seattle was a great place N W. Boy through n through.😊

A 10 minute commercial for a boat dealer pretty much ruined this video. The rest of the video was so jerky - I thought I was going to get motion sickness.
