If ANACS wants to be taken seriously, then they need to refresh the label and holder to make it clear that the grading policies have changed as of that date. Then everyone knows that the new label/holder have more value. Lots of companies change their logo/colors/etc when they do a rebrand/refresh.

For those who do not send coins in, i will tell you that ANACS has really stepped up there game over the last decade! The are coming back on par or even more conservative than the other big two.

I like anacs because you don't have to have a membership plus they have specials like 10 for $140 great grades too

I’m also a PCGS guy but I saw ANACS at the show last month, I thought it was cool they were there. The only thing I personally don’t like about ANACS is their holders don’t look as nice to me. I think CACG will do very well because of how clean their holders are

I submitted another set of coins to ANACS. The ANACS rep will go in October to the Tucson coin show and I will go check that one out and pick up my coins there. But for sure, we can hook up in November.

Remember, all graders work with all the companies. They all bounce around. And yes, anacs is the 1st grading company. I just got back my proof morgan and peace. Ms70s. Was pumped! Btw, you can see that cc on camera is has an almost cast look to it. And yea the sigma will pass plated items unfortunately. But the ping test is something they cant fake.

Congratulations on the perfect grade on the Mogan & Peace dollars. Treasures for many years to come. Yes, I've looked at the CC under the scope, and it looks more odd each time I view it. What ping tester do you recommend?

@hi-ol-ag4811 to be honest i use the lightly hold with thumb and index very carefully and sorta flick it. Any generic pocket pinger would work great. The sound is so undeniable once used to it. Best and fastest test in most cases.

ANACS has been around longer than PCGS and NCG. I hear ANACS is actually tougher than the other two, but do no allow politics in the grading coins like the other two.

Anacs is the softer of the big 3, a Anacs ms 67 is a NGC MS66 and a PCGS MS 65!. For errors PCGS is the worst and Anacs is the best!

I really enjoy anacs . Most of there gradeing is spot on and I like the fact that I get a grade bck no matter what a details grade is way better then just cleaned xf Details .

Wish ANACS would offer a holder similar to rattler or even old accugrade holder with nice label and charge little more for it and if they want to keep the ugly yellow slab then go ahead it would change there market share a lot but they are to dam hard headed to listen to the customer o well there lost

Yes the 1880-CC looks fake on the screen. If you thought it was AU then you knew something was wrong as that would be a 600 wholesale coin. Too grainy on the obverse to be real or AU.

The 1880 CC was disheartening! Damn scammers. I was jacked by an 1885 CC a few months ago. It really hurts to be taken advantage of by so-called fellow collectors. I wasn't able to recoup my money either. I hope 🙏 🤞that I don't have any more counterfeits ..the majority of my 300+ morgan & peace $ collection consists of raw. I do my best to only purchase from reputable dealers.. The 85CC came from one I should have known better than to trust. I've never sent coins in myself, though I've been contemplating doing so. Originally it was going to be pcgs but dang, there are so many videos of collectors being upset with their submissions..even more so now that the company has sold. I may try anacs instead. If you would accept some unsolicited advice. Don't buy whizzed 26-S because it is cleaned harshly it goes down 1or more grades. You knew it was cleaned and seriously from the photo does not look xf details. can't even see top of ear. So you now have a 10-13 dollar coin that you spend 13.00 getting it graded. Cleaned, scratched, damaged just hard hard hard to sell at any price. Hope the rest of the submission is good for you.

Rob, no...I bought a bag of ~400 Wheat Cents for $20. I found the 1926-S amongst the pile. It was a little hazzy, and I dipped it in acetone. Because I got it cheap and it's a SKD, I took a chance on sending it for grading. Hope this helps.

Counterfeit does not actually mean fake… It is a real coin. - it is probably a ‘CC Added” to a Philly coin. So a real Morgan but not a CC… FYI.

It a SKD with a touch over 5.3M minted. I wanted to protect it from further damage...it does look good in a holder, no?
