Ketu in 2nd house and Rahu in 8th house

Scorpio lagna, Rahu in 8th (Gemini) along with Mercury, Sun and Mars. It's been a HARD time. Finances spot on. My dad died abruptly during my nodal return. In 2015, I lost my mom abruptly and a few months later, I was diagnosed with a rare tumor that was growing inside of my spinal cord. They did surgery but they couldn't diagnose the tumor type and closed me back up. It took me out of my career as a labor and delivery nurse which I LOVED. In 2019, I lost everything that mattered to me (literally) during Sade Sati. Went from a 3100sq ft home and married to my childhood sweetheart with two children, to divorced living in our family camper. In an instant! Never saw it coming, EVER! It felt like I had zero control.. like I was being moved energetically and couldn't stop it. Nobody understood. This triggered a spiritual awakening. Lots more. I'm a walking, talking 8th house. HELLLLLP! My 2nd house Ketu is in Sag and Jupiter (retrograde) is in the 1st. I began teaching myself astrology last year to try to figure out what has been happening. I didn't have any knowledge about it prior. First, I taught myself tropical western since I'm in the US. Quickly realized it didn't resonate bc it's simply not correct, and I'm now learning vedic.

Sorry to hear about the losses with this placement :( I have it too cap lagna with ketu and jupiter conjunct in the second in shatabhisha and rahu in the 8th purva phalguni. I related to this with being separated from my family during the end of my ketu dasha when I was a teen. One of the only good things tho from that period was that on the day of my ketu/jupiter dasha I met somebody I dated for many years who was good to me but even when it came to that relationship I still felt pretty unsatisfied (but that also could be my cap venus in dhanishta LOOL). I also relate to living for the 8th house qualities because I like occult knowledge too and taught myself vedic astro while I was in college LOL. Death doesn't scare me with this placement but obviously I don't want to die or anything. I know it's inevitable so I try to enjoy this human experience as much as possible even though it's hard. :)

Hi! I’m so sorry for the losses & obstacles you’ve faced. I’m a Scorpio asc as well & have this placement. Rahu is in conjunction with Sun in the 8th! 🥹 My Jupiter is also retro but in the 12th. No father, lost my only brother. I married my high school sweetheart who cheated & abandoned me abruptly more times than I count. It’s been hell of a ride! I’ve been paying off a hefty karmic debt since birth. I can relate, life changing events occur in a millisecond. At this point, I’m immune to sudden shitty changes & constant challenges.

Hi Anahita....the interpretation changes to a large extent depending on the signs....e.g if ketu in second house in the pisces sign and Rahu in 8th house in Virgo....which is a good sign for rahu..this axis then becomes mostly positive in terms of finance and family....ketu in the sign of pisces brings the positive side of ketu.....it would be good to include these points in your interpretation....

Yesterday I listened to the video Moon in D9 chart and felt against that veil of obscurity concerning the placement of the Ketu/Rahu axis in my chart. In certain ayanamsa 29°54 degree, in another the Ketu /Rahu axis goes into 0°52 degree in following house... And so listening to these video uplifted the veil, it can be thrown away even 😂😅 it is the 2nd/8th house axis for better and worse... I have rahu in 8th house leo. Can't say I've suffered loss any more than any other average person. All my grandparents are dead but the last one of them to die was about 10 years ago now. And I'm 43 now so no surprise there they were in their 80s. Regards possible mitigating factors I can only describe my chart. Mars in capricorn 1st House. Moon and ascendant in 1st House also capricorn. Pluto in 10th house, saturn and jupiter conjunct also in 10th house libra. Venus in 11th house, uranus conjunct midheaven in 11th House scorpio also. Mercury in 12th house, sun and neptune conjunct in 12th house aslo. And chiron in taurus 5th house. I love to grow my knowledge but can't say I'm miserable cos of it. I dging love it haha. Although I'm not keen on my North node leo, I have no interest in leadership. Though I guess I'm gonna do it because... Im reckless 😂 screw it. And I just wann do some good... This is a constructive criticism....You should develop a hook and keep it engaging..Couldn't hear beyond 5 mins... Even at 1.5X it felt slow with too many long pauses. I have attended lectures and watched videos of over 2 hrs long at normal speed so it's not my patience but the style of delivery.

I have this in the D60, with a stellium, &libra asc. Ketu, lord of 2nd scorpio mars, venus lord of rahu in 8th tau, and mercury. No aspect from Ju, who is in 9th Ge. No planet in asc. Sun exalted in 7th. Any comments?
