Okay so here's the thing, Master being on the council IIRC isn't really a promotion, it's an appointment. Mace was pissy because Palpatine just created a new seat. But generally you'd be voted in after a current council member dies or retires their seat. Think like Supreme Court justices.

Their relationship might be my favourite in the whole Star Wars franchise alongside Anakin and Rex’s along with Ahsoka and Rex’s. I’m glad we got more of it in Ahsoka and hopefully we’ll see more of it in the future.

I know right! I love the way that they were able to not necessarily fix her but they did what they needed to do to give her character growth and such a loveable personality. She’s also very authentic and relatable, like she isn’t a “perfect” character who never makes mistakes and that’s why she’s so special imo!!
