Skywalker saga is amazing but maybe a bit too many jokes in scenes where you would've wanted it to actually be serious for a moment. The mouse droid in this scene completely ruined that warm vibe which, sure suits a lego game, but could've easily stayed out.

The newer ones have too much jokes, they tonally kill the story, and they prevent kids from ever feeling sadness when major characters die, in fact they don't even show death, as usually right after the "death" the "dead" character will pop back up or open their eyes or do something else. It is simple-minded, low-class, and weak.

I've always felt that the most recent one goes WAY too fast. It does so many jokes, skips so much of the story, and never gives you a moment to slow down. This scene is no exception. The first one perfectly captures what your supposed to feel in the moment, exactly like the original movie. But, when I play a lego game, a part of me doesn't WANT to feel the same emotion as the movie. I think that the force awakens game gets it just right. They let you feel briefly before letting the comedy back in. I like it.

Force Awakens has the balance between the two, making it look emotional but still humorous. Giving it a fun twist in the cutscene. Skywalker Saga is almost all jokes and a bit of the emotion, but it's still nice making it have the humor the old games had, but multiplies it by two or three times more, and makes it rely on the jokes to make the story a bit more enjoyable for almost all ages. Well for me it's between the Complete Saga and the Skywalker Saga as both of them had a tone for me that felt more like the movie than the force awakens did. That one had its minor perks but the other two I liked way more whether it was the serious and dark emotional tone of the complete saga or that nice scream and animation from Palpatine's "death" which I'm glad they did the death scream more justice than the pathetic and barely audible one in the force awakens by comparison.

The Force Awakens is definitely the best one. It’s funny, emotional and amazingly realistic (The Skywalker Saga is more realistic but you get it.)
