Hey guys! Just wanted to share with you my experience on the Sphincterotomy surgery I have recently had. If you are facing this I’d advise you just go for the surgery! 🦋

Thank u so much for this video made me feel a lot less alone. I was wondering if you also had itching prior to the surgery, and how long did you have the fissure for? How did it start? How are you doing now? Thanks so much for updating me!! We are approx same age and im also a girl and i just feel a lot less alone. Thank you!

Oh dear! I’m sorry for the pain. I had it for 4months, itching was insignificant but the pain was mighty painful! A lot of times I cried like a baby. Just started one day after bowel movement... Now I can say I am 95% alright as I’m still on high fiber diet. Awww 🤗🤗 If you have not had the surgery, totally go for it, no need to suffer that ungodly pain. If you have gone for it, yipeee! The worst is behind you now and you will totally be alright in a short time..just get a step stool and never push and high fiber such as chia seeds in oats, eat avocados, I soak crushed flaxseed in water overnight and drink every morning as well as warm water and this helps be go effortlessly. ❤️

@Amas Randoms im so glad youre doing well! Mine started approx 8 months ago (it started after another surgery) and rather than pain i have severe itching and bleeding after number 2! Thanks so much for the advice, ill definitely try it.. btw you did your surgery in Dubai right? how much was it, what did you look for in a surgeon? Im planning on doing mine in Turkey.. not sure how to find the right one. For now im planning on doing sitz baths if they help, sticking to vegan diet. Have any prescribed creams ever helped u? No creams have helped me. Thanks again for sharing your experience!💕💕

@@user-vm9tl2xu5t yes it was done in Dubai, I just felt at peace with this surgeon and went for it. No cream really helped me if I’m honest but you could try Doxiproct as I used it before and after surgery and I have no itching at all. Just try to soften your poop maybe that could help the bleeding. I removed all spices from my food as I got so scared after having one episode of constipation after surgery but other than that I’m doing great. Yes do sitz baths twice a day for 10mins. After the surgery I was given Betadine Antiseptic solution to drop in my warm water for sitz bath, maybe that helped prevent itching….if you have more questions feel free to ask as I am just a chat away ❤️

I actually have this surgery coming up after months of dealing with a necrotic fissure, I know this pain is going to be out of this world mind you I survived a blood clot in my right leg and that was extremely painful. But I am looking forward to the results as I can't work out or properly lose weight it has stopped my life completely and I need this surgery thank you for this video it has given me an idea of what is to come.

Thank you, your post gave me confidence to have my surgery done. I had my surgery 1 week ago, I'd say it's the best decision I took. The surgery I had was laser sphincterotomy It had bled a lot in the first 2 days, after that there was a lot of discharge. But it has been nearly painless if I am to be honest with you. Even during bowel movement. I'm actually on day 7 now. To anyone who is afraid of surgery, trust me it is the best option. My anal fissures reached a point where they'd hurt up to 2 days after passing a bowel movement. I was unable to walk without difficulties, medicines stopped working as well. I couldn't live a normal life. So before you get to that stage. Consider having surgery.

Hi! Thanks for your video. I agree with you. This pain was the worst pain I have ever felt. I felt hopeless. I had surgery 6 days ago and I am feeling so much better. It still hurts, but it's a different pain and goes away quicker. It usually lasts just about 10 minutes after a go to the bathroom. Did you recovery completely? I so scared that it won't heal properly. My doctor said that about 30% of patients don't recover as they should and have to have surgery again. I've read so many comments of people saying that this happened to them, or that it has been 2/3 months since the surgery but they are still in pain. I'm praying to God for this not to happen to me. I'm so glad to have found someone who had a good experience.

After the surgery then you can try to start getting away from it slowly. I was given a better set of laxatives after surgery but after 3 weeks or so, my doctor told me to start reducing it slowly, so I found natural stool softeners such as flaxseeds, avocados, chia seeds, loads of water and pecans.
