The stroboscopic dots are designed to be used as an indicator to show the change of the speed of the record relative to the normal speed. In simple terms it’s a way to quickly see how much faster or slower the record is.

Should've bought it in black! This silver looks a bit too plasticky IMO. Decent starter turntable, I had a similar one by Reloop about 20 years ago.

I think I bought it during the pandemic and it was hard to find them. I think this was the only one I could find at the time. I needed to replace my old one that died so I was willing to take whatever. Ha!

I don't know why it's called 'vertical tracking' when it's more of a horizontal adjustment. Those ATs have come a long way and are not cheap anymore.

They removed that feature on the 120x series, just like the popup target light. Unfortunately only the original lp120 has the height-adjustment for the tonearm

Plastic "plinth" makes me cringe. Strobe and pitch control are useful features. Would a record clamp be smart to use with this table ?

I have never tried one, but I have never had an issue with this table. I may pick one up and see if it helps with the quality!

I think the total trend here is making videos with no information whatsoever of the product being reviewed. Is basically not knowing about pitch control or arm lift action in a turntable that copies the design from an 80’s model. And don’t come back with a “thank you! didn’t noticed that”, I realize you are a polite person and I don’t mean to sound harsh. But what’s the point of a presentation like this, when you touch the dots on the platter and say “ this is a textured material in case you want to move it around”. It seams people just say “I’m doing a video on this object…..
