Thanks. Honestly this is one of the limitations of the Analog Four, as there aren't separate audio out ports for each track. I'm done with this track, I only did a bit of light compression in FL Studio using some VST plugins. I normally use this in the studio for single sounds, record them and use them in my DAW. Would be amazing if each track had a separate out, but you find ways around it.

Really nice to stumble across something with the A4 that is not ambient experimental techno! Really cool - well done :D

Great tune, and great demo of the potential of the A4. I'm seriously considering this as my first analog. I also checked your Bandcamp, I thought this had a Boratto influence :) I'm a fan too, awesome emotional techno!

Four: - For the beginning, - When the hats come in at 0:44 - When the open hats are added at 2:28 - and one more for the breakdown at 5:15 Most of the variation is done with the performance knobs, and changing key lots using the transpose function (kept transpose locked on the keyboard by pressing Function + Transpose) Thanks for watching/listening :)

well this was the video I was looking for! now I think I'll get an Analog 4, after much searching. it's always seemed esoteric to me and i've dismissed it, but after a few vids, this one being the tipping point, i'm thinking maybe i should learn the ways

Hey dude! I've enjoyed all your videos. I've been thinking about getting A4 as my first hardware synth. Do you recommend it as a first synth? Where did you learn all this stuff - just toying around with the synth? Thanks and keep making these vids!
@MattKeenanMusic11 жыл бұрын
Hey Joona, This was my first hardware synth. Although I have a lot of experience with software synthesizers and sequencers. So yeah, it's doable, but it'll take a lot of getting used to, especially the interface. Definitely read the manual over a few times, look at KZbin videos, lots of helpful tips if you read the forums (elektronauts). Most of all experiment with it, make up your own sounds, and mess around with parameters in the preset sounds to see how they're made. If it's possible, go try one of these at a shop before buying. Thanks for watching, and good luck choosing your first synth :)

Great tune mate ! My wife kinda dug it also... And that says quite a lot considering she doesn't normally get into this type of stuff. Mind you she has been rather clucky lately after some of her friends have been getting pregnant and she likes your baby hands.... (Jokes) keep up the good work with the tunes...
@MattKeenanMusic10 жыл бұрын
Haha! Glad you both enjoyed it (whatever you enjoyed in the video anyway...). I'm losing weight at the moment (currently at 2 stone lost) so next time I make a video my hands shouldn't be so podgy ;)

+Matt Keenan Excellent work! A couple of years ago I was between a A4 and Intellijel Metropolis + Atlantis...I went into modular (or semi-modular I should say).....but your vid makes me want to finally get the A4. Should it go along well with my Tempest?....I think so.... ....by the way I would love to have those hands if they play like that!
