Id use a Midi Keyboard to lay down notes. No Velocity sensitivity with the provided keys on the A4. Also, if I remember correctly everything else Accent/Slide is recorded while you play... as long as you have a midi keyboard that provides. I may be wrong...

Can you make a video on analog RYTM MK2 how to record and play notes from midi keyboard in chromatic mode also? I connected sl mk3 to analog rytm and I hear sounds and see them triggering on pads on analog rytm mk2 but when I try to record it by playing on midi keyboard analog rytm is not recording anything. When I try to record with trigs and pads on rytm mk2 everything works fine

I suppose make sure it’s configured to receive MIDI and then hold record and press play to enter live recording mode, that’s how it is on the A4 at least. But I’d say you’ve figured it out since you posted this 7 months ago.
