1:08 This explanation saved my life! I could not find this information anywhere. THANK YOU!

Now this is what I look for in a tutorial. Clear, concise, tells me what I need to know in a fluid and intuitive way. I just watched a 40 min tutorial that didn't tell me anything useful, I already knew all that shit, it's shit that would be obvious. You are telling me stuff that I don't know, the weird cryptic elektron shit that you just have to know. You know to tell us this because you know how elektron is. Thank you.

Is there a way to completely delete all the patterns and start from scratch? those preloaded patterns are annoying when trying to write a new song?

Is there a way to record parts direct into one pattern and then have a completely different set of recorded samples in another? I'm trying to use this as a DAW but not being able to easily change from one song section to another is bugging me. I mainly record guitar/bass parts into it and it seems I can only have one recording going per pattern

I really appreciate your videos and I would like to hear your opinion on a minimal techno / trance uplifting package. I intended to buy an Analog Rythm MK2 and an Analog Four MK2, as well as a Roland MC 707 and TR 8S and for the bass line a mb33 mam, a Korg Xd rack, Electribe 2, Toraiz as- 1 this way i will have a varied range of sounds. What do you think? No Elektron and Roland duo? Certainly too much material I presume, I would like to have an efficient set with what it takes without duplicate material. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your response and advice
@JAdeWii_4 жыл бұрын
definitely way too much gear to buy at once. I would start with either the elektron combo or the roland combo, if you really wanna do it right just start with one!
@PHOENIX-fb1cf4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback and advice. What would you take to start Elektron or Roland? thank you for your opinion

Elektron is so frustrating. No multiple midi tracks on the Rytm but includes song mode. Digitakt has multiple midi tracks but no song mode. Gah!
@amberdean12635 жыл бұрын
@Gregor Kopp That's the truth... Have a Digitakt and A4 and now I'm looking at an Octatrack to fill in the missing features. Before I got my first Elektron box I didn't understand why people on KZbin would always have 4-5 of them... now I get it.

If i have lets say a Digitone slaved via MIDI to Rytm, it will follow the patterns changes when in song mode?
@JAdeWii_2 жыл бұрын
Yes, there's an extra MIDI setting that needs to be turned on, I forget what it's called but give it a look!
@dirtroom84565 жыл бұрын
is there a feature in song mode that will queue up a different pattern than the one you started on after the song is finished and the elektron stops?
@williamcorgile98235 жыл бұрын
That was cool as $#!t ... Thanx !
@douglascarmichael45824 жыл бұрын
Are the same features available on the Analog Four MkII?
@JAdeWii_4 жыл бұрын
Not the sampling, but mostly yes.
@douglascarmichael45824 жыл бұрын
@@JAdeWii_ I'm thinking of the pattern/song mode features, not sampling.

Hello ! Could someone help me?? .. with midi connectivity between Microfreak and ARmk2...i can't figure out how i could sequence the MF from an AR track set in "track chanel" . i struggle a lot with midi config. Thanks guy's
@aleksd78325 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Pleurmeau i believe you can only send and receive clock and transport (play/stop) from the AR. you can’t send CC messages, or make prog. changes. But the AR can be slaved to receive CC.
@jeremypleurmeau41894 жыл бұрын
@@aleksd7832 Since the last ARmk2 update, there is now new functions in global midi menu and each track menu, the ability to use track as midi tracks for sequencing externals gears across midi outs or usb, but my MF seems not to respond, wathever i prog global midi setup.... but i thing my MF has an issue... i have to return it to the seller. Anyway thanks for your time to answer me !

Would this be better than something like a Teenage OP-1 as a stand-alone workstation?
@JAdeWii_6 жыл бұрын
Elaine D it depends, if you're a keyboard player id go for the OP-1, if you want an in depth sequencer that's analog, then rytm might be a better choice
@JCAlder6 жыл бұрын
Additionally the OP-1 is based on "tape", ie you record audio, the RYTM is a more traditional sequencer when you record information.
@GuitarsAndSynths6 жыл бұрын
Get the new A4 that is better than Rytm for a synthesizer and it can play drums as well.
