Kia Ora bro. Fellow Christchurch-ian here,born and raised. Excellent review of a great unit. I've used a Cerberus for "ampless" gigs straight to the desk using the stock "1960"IR with a Joyo American Sound in the Cerberus' loop and, in front of the Cerberus, a NUX Masamune Comp +Booster and a couple of other pedals, my NUX Monterey Univibe & Morningstar overdrive. Sometimes I'd also add my beloved Keeley Dark Side V1 for the Fuzz, Flanger /Rotary, and Binson Echorec-style delaysm Even with just the Cerberus and the Joyo American Sound in the loop, and the Masamune up front, my DI "ampless" tone was amazing, best I've ever achieved. 8 actually received a lot of compliments on my tone. One guy said that I sounded "exactly like David Gilmour's "Pulse". tones" Bless his cotton socks - He asked me what amp & (individual) pedals I was using

Thanks for a good demo! I have a perhaps stupid question - if you set it up like 4:00, in other words using both the 4CM and the cab sim output direct to a mixer at the same time, does the signal going out via the cab sim output 2 also include the voice/sound of your preamp in your physical amp? Dunno why it wouldn't, but given that you can use it without any preamp other than the built-in drive or distortion then I guess it would be theoretically possible for the cab sim signal in Output 2 to skip the preamp stage of your guitar amplifier.

@@BandOnABudgetNZ Aha, so that's interesting. My reason for asking was that I wanted to get the two outputs to sound as similar as possible, and with one including my preamp and the other not, then the chances for them sounding the same decrease. Anyway, will have to try it out of course. Thank a lot for clarifyring this for me, and greetings from the opposite side of the globe 🙂

Greeting! Is it possible to make the same sound for example: distortion (with very little drive) delay, reverb on one switch, and on the other switch the same sound (so the same distortion), but with many more drives? Thank you 🙂
