The starting lineup is absolutely ridiculous. Bird, Magic, Jordan, Barkley, Robinson. Damn!

Magic had HIV. Should not have played. He was a loud mouth, thinking he was number 1. There was a new Sheriff in TOWN, Michael Jordan.

A 79 point annihilation. What's amazing is that, in the early 80s, the Lakers beat the Nuggets by 63. That's how dominant that team was.

I make prank calls to radio programs. Play them on my page! It was his 12th year in the league. He was still great but in no way was he still in his prime.
@travisblankenship66436 жыл бұрын
I make prank calls to radio programs. Play them on my page! At this point you're just throwing things against the wall and hoping they stick. Magic was coming back from a year off, and he was over 30. I said he was still great, but, was he better than 85 or 87 magic? Nope. Your argument is "many people this, and many people that". That's all well and good, but by that same token, many MORE people considered jordan better at that point. And yes, 4 years younger in the nba is huge. Mike was in his 8th year, magic his 12th.
@travisblankenship66436 жыл бұрын
I make prank calls to radio programs. Play them on my page! Lol u were hardly using "reason" and "logic" in your argument. Saying that an nba player gets better and peaks after more than a decade flies in the face of common sense in fact. Again, magic wa ms still amazing in his 12th year. He's an all time great. But you're literally generalizing your stance by using a blanket statement when u say that players are in their prime in year 12, even though the vast majority of stats and, yes, common sense begs to differ. Jordan wasn't the same animal in year 12 as in year 6. That's a statistical fact. Was he still dominant? Sure. But u can't say that a 12th year mike, after weathering 12 seasons was still in his prime. I think u need to gain an understanding of what the word means before you continue going on a tyrade with little to no evidence to support your claim.
@travisblankenship66436 жыл бұрын
I make prank calls to radio programs. Play them on my page! And a side note, if ud like me to bring out a ton of stats to support my stance, which is that the vast majority of nba players are well put of their primes by year 12, I happily can.
@travisblankenship66436 жыл бұрын
I make prank calls to radio programs. Play them on my page! Also, to clarify and answer another of your questions, no, I'm not saying that someone who is in their early to mid 30's isn't a young person still, but in nba years it TYPICALLY signifies a decline in their athletic ability and performance.

If you look at Magic's eyes when he is sitting on the bench you can tell his watching very carefully at what each player on the opposing team is doing and Magic is taking notes!!! Lol!!!!!

So how is the 08 usa team going to beat this dream team? This dream team has very limited turnovers and little to mental lapses.. 08 team has over 10 turnovers per game.. and players with mental lapses In a very competative match up.. there is little to no room for mistakes
@EDogg56 жыл бұрын
Lalambz Players are better now. Them mfs the Dream Team was playing were BFI. Wade, Kobe, Bron, Howard, Anthony, CP3, Deron Williams, Bosh. Then the 12 team added Westbrook, Durant, Harden , A.D. , Tyson Chandler, Love.
