For those who are complaining about the narrow hu card slot - my theory is that Analogue recognise that although they don’t endorse it…the community will produce custom firmware that will enable games to be played from and saved to those SD cards thus making the need for everdrives redundant…thus the slots are designed not for “redundant everdrives” but for original game playing. Analogue will never admit this as they can’t legally endorse people playing Roms they don’t own although that is what everbody does on all of their consoles.

Great vid. Duo looks like a solid option. Those 8bit DO controllers have input lag, which sucks as I had high hopes for them.

Same here, I only had 1 friend with a Turbo Grafx-16. Everyone else either had the Genesis or SNES. Only the rich kids had both, but didnt they still didnt have a Turbo.

I have a TG-16 with the CD player and a bunch of Hu Card and CD games. I loved it back in the day. I never understood why it wasn't more popular. Used to spend hours with my father playing the hidden bomberman game on the Bonk CD. My favorite bomberman game to this day. Do the controllers on this not have the turbo switches? A lot of games really needed those.

I think you might need a new New Adventure Island Hu Card. Hu Cards do occasionally die (see Super Star Soldier on Turbo Views).

It's weird that it work in a real TG16, right? But yeah... you could be right.
