Thanks for another excellent video. Only thing I would add is that the RT4K output + Analogue Pocket's original GB/GBP LCD display modes are absolutely GOD TIER for playing Game Boy games on a 4K display, besting even Retroarch LCD shaders. With the right display and 2.4Ghz wireless controllers, the overall latency is excellent, and the experience is effectively peerless.

Recommendation for everybody is to make sure that integer is selected from the screen size. If you select fill. It will look rather odd and blurry

As of official memory card 1.1 the RetroTINK-4K memory card has been updated with many more profiles and instructions for a ton of pocket cores.

@@VideoGameEsoterica i hear at linus tech tips it's not good to upscale modern consoles such as switch, and there is no profile dedicated to analogue sg. i mean, probably the more modern the hardware is, the less visibles improvements will be. also wondering if it only upscalle non-hdmi sources, since clones consoles are hdmi. thanks for your reply. this looks just a miraculous solution, especially on 4k monitors.

I'd really like to see the crt effects close-up like My Life In Gaming did. GBA looks awesome. I think the filters will make this feel like a SNES2.

Yes you can do similar things with internal Tink filters and MiSTer has their own internal set as well

I love pixel perfection, not gonna lie. It comes from my days of buying import consoles here in the UK. All of those imports were Japanese and converted by the importers to offer RGB scart so everything I had from Megadrive onwards had this and that created my love for pixel perfection. I just find it so pleasing. I can’t wait to get a Pocket probably j this month but in terms of a Tink… who knows if I’ll ever be able to get hold of one. Would definitely love to see a deeper dive with more titles. Keep up the great work!

Damn. That RetroTINK 4K really does make everything look incredible. It'a a high price to pay but looks likes it's worth it to me. Paired with an Analogue Pocket, that's an over powered set up.

As soon as an Analogue Pocket with a 120Hz SAMOLED comes out i'll pick one up, being able to use BFI on an FPGA handheld will be the closest thing we have ever had to a portable CRT handheld with real hardware, handheld OLED with near CRT motion clarity, input and colours and proper shaders would be even better than the Steam Deck OLED for emulation, for much less money given the Pocket is a 3rd of the price.

The best way to play the GBA games on the Pocket is also using the Original GBA LCD and not the Analogue filter or SP 101, because 90% of the games will look so saturated, play Mario Kart or Golden Sun with both filters and you will see that the correct one its the Original GBA LCD as it was intended :)
