Thanks a lot for posting these amazing videos. With your inspector calls my grades jumped from a 5 to an 8. I hope my grades do the same for j&h and Macbeth.

I have already done. You should also explore more themes in both Macbeth such as rationality, revenge and leadership. And in J&H as well such as rationality (from a Freudian perspective linking to id , ego , superego), urban terror and curiosity. Looking forward to acing my mocks tomorrow.@@staceyreay

When she's talking about the fumes of Arabia could that link to how she said "A Little Water can wash us from this sin" Arabic perfumes or oud are very strong scented and diminish any smell, this strong scent cannot even wash of the guilt and blood she has on her hands further highlighting how her guilt has over powered her almost like the overpowering scent of the "arabian fumes" something so strong which diminishes any scent cannot remove the guilt which is seared within her soul. Also the fact that she refers to her hands as small could it link back to act 1 scene 5 as she overtly states her masculinity but here she refers to her hand as "little" suggesting that her fragile side is starting to appear and is becomming feminime as she knows that she is in deep trouble and utilities her feminimity to cater to her selfish needs if something is "little" it is perceived to be weak and shy, thus conveying how little impact women had in the Jacobean era, Lady Macbeth uses her feminimity to her advantage as she has realised the consequences of her actions is this too far out the box?????

Remember how Macbeth says “false face must hide what the false heart doth know”, could it perhaps show how Macbeth is listening to her as if it’s a command repeating in his head? This is because his words echoes lady Macbeth’s words of “look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under’t”. He echoes her words which could suggest that Macbeth is being controlled like a puppet and so it shows her power as during Jacobean times/Elizabethan times they lived in a patriarchal (man-led) society and so women were meant to be submissive while men dominant. However, lady Macbeth has taken the dominant role and Macbeth submissive, a clear role reversal, which shows her power?

When she talks about the serpent couldn't that be a biblical reference of the famous story of "Adam and Eve"? The sin that they are about to commit will be such like the great sin. The serpent like the one in the bible is a reference to evil and no good could happen during it's presence.
