fun fact, so the uk has this quiz show called “University Challenge” where each week a team of 4 from a university in the uk go head to head with another answering questions on math, science, art, history, literature, geography, film and much more (it’s a bit pretentious and more academic than the average quiz show )When a team gets a start question right they get a “Bonus round”of questions on one topic to answer. I wish for future All Stars season they go back to the original Snatch Game. I think the Snach Game of love is a bit little unfair, because a queen success depends on which group is assign to them. For ex. in AS 4 Latrice having to deal with Gia and the other group didn't. Yes, i understand that is part of the game interact with the other queens but i just think the original version is better.

It's quite interesting to look at Dela and Shangela's snatch game for both seasons. Dela was constantly criticized for hiding behind a character, but for snatch game it worked for her both times and won. Shangela, on the other hand, just oozes natural charisma and personality, so she could just play herself in a wig and it was enough for her to be safe in Season 3 and actually win in AS3

Snatch game is brilliant because it really can show which queens understand The Game of Drag Race. There’s really not One Way To Survive (like say, a sewing challenge where you’ll probably be fine so long as you can cut a pattern and operate a machine) Doing well at Snatch Game requires a fair amount of self-awareness and smarts to be funny. And it’s not really the kind of thing most queens regularly do. Yes, you’ll have look-a-like impersonators (a la Chad Michaels, Derrick Barry, et al.) but that act is typically about lip-synching and dancing like the character. Embodying them enough to be funny on the fly in a game show format is tricky. (Like Coco does a great Janet Jackson in Vegas but not on Snatch Game). There are definitely some Dont’s 1. Don’t do a Real Housewife 2. Don’t Do a former Ru-Girl 3. Don’t do RuPaul 4. Don’t do a licensed character (like Minnie Mouse or Barbie) But there are definitely some good “Can Do’s” 1. Can do an historical figure (a la Symone as Harriet Tubman) 2. Can do a friend of RuPaul’s (like LaToya) 3. Can Do a Gay Icon (like Liza)
