I have a question. When you click "Sizing" and then under "Definition" i don't have "Body of Infuence". What should i do?

I find the cd values to low with slang angle 80 degree I changed just chamber part in design modeler, I have used same mesh but cd is coming 0.28 it is too low with this slant angle how ı can change?

Why does Vincent add a rectangle at 8:17? I don't understand the purpose of it.

Hi, the rectangle is used to better control the element size in the region. In the meshing mode, the rectangle is used as body-of-influence (see 14:19).

Can I get 4 instead of 36 in setup? does this cause a problem? I can't run it because I'm a student licensed.

@@doguhanozms4238frontal area should be 0.056 in ansys reference values… Because we halved the ahmed’s body

How to make the program run fast it takes 10 hours for me to run please help me save time

Then increase the time step

@@niketanbhalke6000 How does that help? I'm new to CFD as well, I thought reducing the number of elements? I thought 537,000 is a bit excessive for this simple a geometry? Assuming you're using a laptop at home

@@dazzah97 yes you can decrease the number of elements 53700 is a big number for simple case. And in setup calculation tab is there in that you can increase the time step.

@@niketanbhalke6000 Okay thank you, I've copied what this guy has done exactly and I'm at 41:26 I'm confused when the screen changes is that saying his calculation finished and converged at over 37,000 iterations? I've just started my calculations and its taken 10 minutes to reach 320 iterations, when can I stop the calculation?
