Problem: when i apply the load, i do not see the arrow. then when i plot the results i get no colors and my beam is all red. Solution: my ansys apdl version has a glitch in applying the load so i have to apply the load using the command prompt. To do so, just type the command: fk,2,fx,-1000 this means apply force on KEYPOINT 2 in the x axis direction with magnitude 1000 in the negative x direction. if you use the command: f,2,fx,-1000 then you are doing the same thing but applying the force at NODE 2
