I actually thought it would be a quick verdict because only one question needed to be answered and that is, did Karen's cat hit john. To me that is very simple answer. When Bev sent the jurors back she told them not to draw a straw and to go over every bit if evidence. I believe that is what they are doing and it has only been 15 hours of deliberation.

There is a lot of evidence to go through and the jury is not staying full days, so I am trying not to get excited. I have seen many jurors stay until 8:00 or 9:00 pm or later. It makes me think the jurors need a break from each other and need to go home. This is an example of once the jury is given the case, they need to be sequestered.

If the judge hadn’t told the jury that she didn’t recommend a straw poll on day one, it might be over by now. The public cares because they feel if the cops could do this to someone like Karen Read, they could also do it to them, and not all of us could afford the same defense team. As a generally law abiding resident of Canton, I now fear both the local and state cops, which is not something I ever anticipated.

I think what has gripped the nation about this case is how law enforcement did such a terrible job at investigating this case, from the second they were dispatched till the trial. Many people believe if Karen Read had not had money, she would have been forced to take a plea and many believe they could be standing in Karen Read's shoes today if they were accused of a crime and the wrong detective investigated that crime. Citizens want to believe the police will do the right thing, and they don't understand how LE can be so unprofessional and biased.

GUILTY! You would expect Dog DNA to be found on John's clothing. Those dogs have lots of saliva too. That saliva would of pretty much sprayed his clothes. When hikers get killed by animals in the woods there's always animal DNA left as evidence which makes it easy to identify the animal.

I watched the entire trial and do not believe the prosecution proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt. You have to follow the law and instructions. It appears the majority of people who’ve followed this case feel the same way. There’s not enough to send anyone involved to prison for life as it was presented. The investigation was extremely flawed, hence the ongoing FBI investigation.
