We have a video on how to add descriptions to eVars, props and custom events here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5LdZ5xpe6qHhMk. The content is very outdated, but the approach to managing descriptions via the Admin console is still the same. Also, descriptions can be added to segments and calculated metrics when you create them in their respective builders. We will put together some new content that covers adding descriptions A to Z soon!

Jen here! I actually prefer some of our out-of-the-box options for my projects and tend to apply #3 most often. I like the variety of colors it offers compared to our Adobe Analytics purple brand colors. For customers, I always recommend finding your brand colors and applying those as a custom palette so that the project recipient can immediately relate to what they are seeing.

How to remove the default landing page in workspace

Hi Vamshi - the New Project modal that shows blank project & templates to start from is not removable. However, some customers have found a creative workaround - Save a blank project, then set it as your landing page under Project > Set as Landing Page.
