Yamcha is 100% underrated in the current meta, but understandably. By no means is he bad, but he lacks enough reasons to use him for the top 10 in the game. He's the classic character loyalist pick. If someone is really devoted to using him, they can have good results, but there aren't gonna be a lot of Yamcha players because he isn't good enough alone to be a common teambuilder pick, but he also isn't bad enough to not give Yamcha loyalists results. He definitely can make upsets. At this point in the balancing of the game, I don't think Yamcha really needs many more buffs, but if he did get buffed I'd like to see these last few things: - 6f 5L -Extend 2M hitbox -5M 2 more frames of invul and 5H 15 more frames of invul (which is enough to perfectly dodge a beam assist for example) -Allow finisher follow ups to be immediately performable once you initial the WFF rekka -Give him an alternative level 1 that deals slightly more damage but cannot be controlled like the default spirit ball. This version can also be DHC'd into if one ally is down.

one thing about Yamcha is that getting a hit in the corner leads to very good damage. if you can bait a spark with 5H your opponent pretty much dies because of the small solo extensions he can do. the caveat with it is that he doesn't have much use for bar to do more damage except supers.

I've been running SSJ Goku (A) DBS Broly (B) Yamcha (A) For about a year occasionally swapping SSJ Goku with Jiren, Videl, or Goku Black but I can't find myself getting rid of Yamcha hes my GOAT for sure!!

Always thought they would make it so that holding down H (or a direction) during 5H would cancel it midway through. Not only would it make the butto have more than one use, but now that it has I-Frames, it would be a great retreating tool. That, and it would be a good setup for the wolf fang fist mix.

Idk if this is SUPER important but you can kara L/M gale fang with j.S for side switch mix, lets him basically get a budget version of Gogeta's double air dash mix with it if done right
