Good presentation there. Loved seeing Powershell used as a quick slice and dice data canvassing tool. Opening .NET and PS was one of the smartest move MS has made in recent times.

@@TrevorSullivan I'm a cloud architect these days so mostly finding/analyzing/managing different sets of cloud resources. But in my network engineering days, a lot of systems and network troubleshooting (to the extent that the language would allow anyway). Had been learning Python and Go years ago, then it occurred to me I'd probably pick up OOP faster (and possibly be more productive in my network engineering day job) by just learning and applying Powershell day to day. Made understanding OOP far easier for me; highly recommend it to others.

This is awesome! I'm trying to get into learning powershell. I've used bash for so long and now I have a windows computer and don't feel like doing any dual boot cheese. This seems really really powerful and intuitive to use.

Hi Should voting software have alogrtyhms Surely it should be Candidate A or Candidate B and add them up
@michaedove35624 жыл бұрын
It seems like a ballot could contain a question about the voters desire to vote all Democrat or all Republican down ballot. In that case the program would need something to review that question and then calculate the votes based on that questions answer (either counting them individually or all to one party), right? So wouldn't that be an algorithm? A simple one, but a required one for many states.
@Jholladay104 жыл бұрын
@@michaedove3562 Have you ever voted? Ballots have a party line checkbox at the top. But if you check it, then you don't vote for specific partisan candidates on the rest of the ballot. It's not intended as a validation. In fact I bet if you check it and then mark specific candidates from the other party, you ballot would be considered invalid.
@michaedove35624 жыл бұрын
@@Jholladay10 Yeah, that was my point. DigNap15 was implying that the software shouldn't contain an algorithm and that it should just be a simple addition...But it cant be in many states, because of the party line check box. So I'm pretty sure we agree here.

Can you point to where in the video he claims that the vote was corrupt? Seems like he just talks about "bias" not in the sense of fraud but in the sense of more people voted for Biden or Trump in a particular county.
