The tattoo behind his ear is actually two words not just one, it's 'Youth' and 'Growth' but it's the writing design that makes both words look like one word, the design is called ambigram

Actually Jimin got one of the moons (the first one) on his own. The fanart was inspired by Jimin's moon tattoo (said by the fan who drew it) and Jimin later got inspired by the fanart to get more moons/moon phases on his back.

Oh wow, i don't know why it never clicked to me. Nevermind tattoo in the MAMA was in 2014, but Nevermind, Suga's song was in HYYH pt. 2 in 2016. So Nevermind was always a spoiler. I thought Suga made the song for HYYH, but he already had the song in 2014 and they were spoiling a song two years before the album. Idk why that didn't click to me before haha. ❣️ Jimin has actually many real tattoos : - "NEVERMIND" title of Suga’s song that inspired him that’s on his right side upper ribcage - "Youth" behind his left ear - moon phases, from his neck, down his spine, to lower back - "young forever" one word on back of each upper arm - "13" on his wrist holds special meaning to Jimin bday (oct. 13) + BTS debuted (june 13) - "7" on his finger (matching tattoo , all 7 members of BTS got on various parts of their body) Side Notes: You can clearly see the full on NEVERMIND tattoo, every time Jimin lifts up his shirt to show heart flutter at beginning of live performance of Serendipity. Matter of fact towards the end of 2018, was when Jimin got that tattoo. It was at the beginning of BTS Love Yourself tour. Jimin did originally have the same tattoo temporarily as well as Chinese characters which said The Most Beautiful Moments in Life, on other side of torso, as a promo for army, to hint at looking forward to their next album of that name, as well as Suga’s Intro song Nevermind, which would be released before that album. It can be seen when after Jimin did his legendary Taekwondo flip, then proceeds to rip off his shirt to expose it during 2014 MAMA performance of BTS vs BlockB. I think of all reactors you can appreciate how brilliant the choreography is. The complex combos moves in perfect unison are Stunningly Exquisite. It's honestly The Best Choreography I've seen in any MV or any stage production musical I have ever seen with the highest degree of difficulty. And the choreography interprets the storyline and lyrics and mood and temperature of the song in a genius type level. A Magnificent Masterpiece!! Kudos to the choreographer, backup dancers, and Jimin for his insightful concept. I hope it wins many awards. Jimin has already filmed and posted a thank you. I just saw the commercial on TV of Jimmy Fallon announcing Jimin on his show tonight, the 23rd. The Tonight Show is on NBC. His show starts at 10:30 Central time. Tonight is the interview. You guys are my favourite Jimin reactors. It’s like you think the same way as me and see Jimin the same way as I do. Sometimes he doesn’t seem real for me too. It’s a weird sensation that hits you suddenly. Jimin is such a professional and very diligent and detailed with his performances. He has such an artistic brain. His concepts always hit and his execution is out of this world. My first opinion of Jimin was that he could be a world star (possibly one of the greats). I’m eagerly watching in the days and months to come to see how far he can go. He definitely has the talent, star quality and compelling stage presence to do so. The Set Me Free MV has that dystopic "1984" and/or "Metropolis" feel to it because of the black & white, or gray, monochromatic costumes & the monochromatic feel of a simple yet expansive, but also soulless, concrete-looking stage, which could resemble a prison that he wants to be set free from. Depression can also feel gray, so that is part of the symbolism in the song.

Jimin was the first person to get a tattoo in the group. It was the nevermind across his ribs. Armys were conflicted for the longest time whether it was real or not, it was hilarious everytime we caught a glimpse during serendipity or any other choreo bcs people were so divided 😂 Then JK followed up with the tats and jimin also got several others during the years.

Jimin was the first one in BTS with a tattoo, or at least, the first one that we could see. When he first got the Nevermind tattoo, there was a lot of speculation if it was real. However, since over time we kept getting glimpses of it and it never changed - it was real. You can see it sometimes when Jimin jumps in dance practice videos and when he performed Serendipity.

The Nevermind tattoo is real and he has had it for a long time, BTW loved how he flashed his 7 tattoo here, showing what it is still all about. But first and foremost: Is there ever going to come a time when that man's face, personality, spirit and ginormous talent is NOT going to make me stupid? Geez... Jimin brought me to BTS, almost 3 years later I am totally OT7 and I adore them all. But every now and then our Mochi will do something that makes me melt and want to adopt him all over again. Like this performance, it just leaves me dazed. I feel he is happy with and proud of his solo debut, even if it feels a little bittersweet. So I am busting with pride for Jimin and of course RM, Jhope, Jin and Yoongi, while waiting for V and Jungkook's projects. They all seem to feel the separation more than expected, Kookie crying in his Vlive the other day broke my heart. Somebody go over to that Boy's house and hug him for a couple days or so. Last, but not least, I have been having a major Yoongi moment lately, since he started his Suchwita talk show - can we please agree that he might be the best Host ever? The way he steers the conversation, how he never asks cringy questions and how he makes his guests feel so at ease, he has a gift for this. So, shout out to my favorite talk show host, Min Yoongi!

I can’t say enough how Bangtan is the group that wants us to see their process, the way they work. Yes they want us to have our magic shop experiences but also to see the job they work long hours and long days to make. It’s not perfect! They break shit! Yes he has real tattoos. Jimin has 6 real tattoos(that we know of): -“7” tattooed on the inside of his finger. -“NEVERMIND” tattooed across the right side of his ribcage. -“13” tattooed on his wrist. The number/date has two meanings-it’s his birthday(13 October) and also BTS debut date (13 June, 2013). -“Young Forever” tattooed on the back of each of his elbows. -“youth” tattooed on the back of his left ear -A moon sequence back tattoo that you can also see at the end of the “Set Me Free pt.2” MV. We haven’t seen the full back tattoo yet but he said he’ll reveal it one day in the future.

Yes, he has a rib tattoo that says Nevermind, then a 13 on the indide of his wrist (signifying his birthday and their debut), the #7 insude his index finger (frienship tattoo all members got), Young Forever on back if each arm, Youth written behind his ear, and the moon phases on his spine (part of it shows at the end of the MV when his in white).

Jimin has "NeverMind" tattooed on his rib which he got that in 2018, he also has the whole moon phase scene tattoo going down his back, has 13 on his wrist, has "Youth" behind his ear and number "7" on his finger....these are real tattoos

5:36 it’s scary how good he is at composing himself after he’s just been laughing and goofing around fr lmao Edit: *Yes, his “NEVERMIND” tattoo is real.* He got one fake for an event in 2014, knowing bts it must’ve been a teaser for their upcoming album that was released in April 2015 (The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt. 1). It comes from a song Yoongi wrote for their album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt. 2 (November 2015) the song is Intro: Never Mind. The song is very encouraging, you can tell Jimin felt identified and decided to get the tattoo for real around 2018-2019, it’s his first tattoo too, he has more :)
