I have not found Vit C "pasty"@ all. I do however find it lasts a long time compared with CeraVe Vit C. I'm able to use it twice day (have rosacea) with no problems.

It’s waterless so it feels pasty to me once rubbed out but it def looks like a lotion at first

never know how well a vitamin C is going to work unless you know the ph of the product. Can only really work well if the ph of the product.
