Abraham Lucas was my favorite pick of last year's draft. I still cannot believe that he fell to us in the third round, I believe he's an all pro, pro bowl caliber tackle.

The problem with 2022 was the 22nd defense in pts allowed. We already know Lucas and the OTackles are good, what would be great for Seattle is Dl wrecking shit and tapping Geno on the back. That's what's gonna make the Seahawks win games in Jan if they make it to the dance. Defense wins championships and postseason games. Except Mahomes that guy just broke the rule with 17th defense, if you don't have Mahomes you need defense and if you face Mahomes well, shit, that's gonna be a problem. For NFC team not used to seeing him like AFC teams that still managed to beat him in 2022, Bengals got him 3x and there's no way he's letting you beat him a 4th time in a row.

I would go a step further; Pete Carrol football depends on winning time of possession. You wear down the other team's defense, and in the fourth quarter, you dominate. Last year they could not stop the run and did not win time of possession in several games, which is trouble for a Pete Carrol team. This year they completely overhauled the D-line, not sure if they could be any worse than last year, so I expect improvement against the run.

The pickup on the fake LB cover was good, but both Haynes and Lucas get absolutely dominated on that rep. Sack by both players.
