I read the title and thought you meant mathematical set theory. That would‘ve been wild hahah

Perhaps a little reading mistake: 5:38 and 5:44 should be B instead of Bb in right hand, lower voice?

Oh wow, you’re right! I thought the natural was for the D but that wouldn’t make sense anyways, it’s totally for the B! I swear they make the same mistake in the version I linked in the description too haha. Someone helped me notice an accidental in 42/5 from a comment as well! Thanks!

@@jaybeardmusic8074 Thanks for your response & the analysis! I disagree with the start of the B-section, i think it is in bar 9 at 4:53.

Mmm that is a neat interpretation! It would definitely make the structure more proportional! (B section 6 bars instead of 2) The melody is slightly different starting there, although the melody never changes that much throughout. I think I do like your interpretation. Perhaps where I marked the B section is more like a transition section getting us back to A.

Hi! I really love the way you explain Scriabin harmony! I would like to know, what is the differences between the two courses you are selling? I would like also to ask you which books you suggest for studying harmony about Scriabin. (Octatonic scales, mystic chords, supersets etc. and many other things used in Scriabin music) Thank you!

Good questions! Both courses are helpful for composers, but the Scriabin course is specially about understanding and emulating Scriabin’s style. The first section regarding structure is available to view for free if you’re curious. I haven’t quite finished the set theory course yet, but it’ll teach people to be very familiar with set theory in a way that can be applied to improvisation or composing. As for Scriabin books, I have a video on Scriabin books I recommend! Unfortunately there aren’t many good ones and only one I know that gets into what you’re curious about, The Music of Alexander Scriabin. It’s not an easy read and is very much based on set theory, but there’s definitely some insights to gain from it. I made my channel/course cause there wasn’t enough explanation of Scriabin’s music!

@ The Scriabin’s course about emulating Scriabin’s style is the one with 10% off?
