I saw the footage. I didn't see any aggression on her behalf. One of the officers told her to see to the pot cause "we don't want a fire..." she went to the pot, one officer backed up, she asked calmly, "where are you going?" The office says, "out of the way of that hot steaming water." With the pot in hand she then says (which to me sounded in jest), "I rebuke thee in the name of Jesus," the cop said "what?" She repeated herself, then the cop says, "you better fkn not, I'll shoot you in your fkn face!" She says, "I'm sorry!" In a scared voice, and squats down with the pot in her hands in a defensive position, then the shots ring.

That's one of the nicest and non threatening things a woman can say to you but before that she was told to turn off the boiling water by the cops. So she was following orders and when she went down she did not have the pot of water in her hands! The boiling water was still on the stove plus when she went down she said that she was sorry. So she was on the floor with her hands up with mittens on and then she was shot 3 times.

If they felt threatened they're supposed to back away from the suspect but she never came at them or threatened to throw the water the cop was the aggressor and escalated the situation that's why he's locked up. She put the pot down and her hands up and ducked while he's moving in gun drawn after saying I'll fkn shoot you in the fkn face. In the 2nd video she grabs the pot because he's yelling put the pot down but it was already on the counter after she threw her hands up but he says put it down 3 times then he shoots 3 times and the pot drops by the chair.

Azget Industries uploaded a 3D/AI rendition of what was seen in the bodycam footage ..He was shouting at her to "DROP THE POT" when the pot was still on the sink ...She cowered down, in fear, after apologizing, with her hands in the air, holding oven mits ...and as she was coming up, they were STILL shouting and cursing at her, now moving towards her, with their guns pointed at her ..This, now, put her in "FIGHT or FLIGHT" mode ..So, as they were coming at her with the guns pointed on her, shouting, she grabbed the nearest thing to cover her head (the pot on the sink), although you DID NOT see any water "thrown" (although, as expected, water fell on the floor) ...More than likely, she was trying to COVER HER HEAD, because they were MOVING IN ON HER, even after she had apologized, put her hands up, lowered herself to the floor, and LEFT THE POT ON THE SINK! ..Now, if they were in such fear of her becoming "aggressive", and throwing hot water on her ..WHY move CLOSER to her? Normally I agree with Lord Jamar on a lot of things.. what concerning Sonya Massey thing I don't. I don't believe that she was aggressive, and I don't believe that she was a threat what's the hot water. I saw The exchange from the point they asked her for her ID and when they allowed her to go get the hot water, the shooting, the part where the cop tells the other one not to go get his kit she has a headshot it's over. And at no time that I believe that she threatened, was saw her threatening the police with that water.
