The reason a lot of companies skip 9 is because in Japan, 9 is considered unlucky, since it is pronounced similarly to the word for suffering. Due to this, it’ll probably be called Mario Kart 10 or X or something with a subtitle.

Whether or not you're right about them releasing a future OLED to fill in the bezels, I think it's still true that they're going to release SOME upgraded version that's improved in several ways, and that's when I'm planning on nabbing a Switch 2. I'm done and tired of buying first gen things.

I’ve recently been playing my sons switch, I’ve never been a fan of the Nintendo gimmicky things. Ive adjusted and have found games that I like. If I could play eldon ring or equivalent on the switch 2 I’ll be happy. I’m close to buying a steam deck also.

Man, believe me when I say, I've been imagining how they might reveal the new system for years at this point, and the whole thing was so underwhelming. I think they just waited so long that everything just leaked and ruined the moment. Nontheless, I'm extremely excited and April 2nd can't come any sooner.
