@@Ankara72456 when it’s near the side line most of the space is to the other side so defenders naturally think that they’ll go there but instead they go down the line with a la croqueta to make sure that he defender can’t reach the ball even if they tried Second reason they use la croqueta is when the ball is close to the defender players usually use la croqueta to make sure they don’t get it especially when they get too close to the defender too close that if they were to perform any other skill it wouldn’t work except the la croqueta because the defender is so close to you and instead of moving the ball diagonally, you move it across your body to make the ball go out there reach
