I still remember, to this day, the place I was when I listened to it for the first time. I can't describe how found I felt by something that wasn't there "for" me. I remember, as I do today, feeling that warm love obviously singing me its beauty. Noone knows my bond to this song, noone knows this garden I found for myself when all else feels too much. this is THE summer tune. skies blazing with towering clouds, warm sun permeating every inch, and the radio bumping sick basslines with no apologies. since this came out, I've come back to it every year, and it never gets old. it reminds me of the youth I had, and didn't have, and wanted to have, and missed out on, and cherished so dearly. it's hard to believe it's 10 years old--it makes me feel 18 again.

when I listen to this song I picture escaping to a fantasy world of video games, where you can relive your favorite stories and adventures as the character or just yourself, along with childhood friends. Then time fastforwards and you're older, but somehow you manage to capture the old memories with new friends, and some of your old friends show up later. Video games to me have usually been about escapism, but when you share them with another person, it becomes a great way to share and connect with other people. Shout out to all my gamer brothers and sisters, keep on rockin.

tbh i first found this song through Dan and Phil and I even left a long comment about how much this song me sad and happy at the same time and how I loved this song and how I loved Dan and Phil but I've since left the phandom. I still listen to Anamanaguchi but I have to skip over this song sometimes bc I don't want to deal w the influx of emotions it gives me. but right now, listening to this song again, it hits me that even though I don't actively follow Dan and Phil anymore I have a deep love for them that I can't really forget. They really did make me so happy for a while and I appreciate that so much. They're great people and I don't want to ever forget that.

To be precice this is Chiptune. A common subgenre from 8-Bit. The reason this isnt 8-Bit is well because of the audio itself. If youctried having this song played through the NES or even SNES, the sound cards wouldnt be able to handle it. They only reach 16 bit audio. This is still considered Chiptune due to its straightforward sounds used (mainly square waves and triangle waves) while containing the production style of the songs made for old faming systems. By far my favorite genre/genre.

Even your fantasies have limits. They are limited by the mind (the mind possessing the fantasy) but also by time, which is why it sucks to wake up sometimes. We would probably have "longer" fantasies however if we had no obligations/responsibilities, which in turn would lead to an inadequate meaning to life. In order to improve the quality of your fantasies - you need to continuously develop your mind. For example, most of us can look back at our old fantasies and see flaws in those fantasies today. PS. I love this song. I make music myself and I have mainly been using real instruments (guitar, bass, drums, piano, percussion, etc.) in my songs but this song inspired me to try out more electrical sounds. = Me trying to expand my knowledge & musical perception in order to fantasize deeper in music itself (when creating/modifying sound waves & rhythms). My idea of music today, should and will, be different tomorrow. Know your limits, never accept them.
