The constitution must change with the evolving times. Constitution is not a book written in a stone. If people feel need to change constitution on any account they can collect signatures of 1 lakh Swiss nationals and submit to the authorities. Within 6 months normally there is a national referendum on this change. It there is a majority in this referendum the constitution get changed. There is nothing like the essential part. as defined by the SC, that can not be changed. As a matter of fact in India the SC has replaced the rightful institution that i.e. the parliament and is changing the constitution as they like.

Holding a referendum in a country with population half that of Delhi would not be that hard, but same can't be said for a country of 100 crore eligible voters. Changing the constitution requires an overwhelming trust of a nation's population in the elected government, that they won't exploit their position of authority in a way that undermines the basic rights of citizens. The BJP has failed to win that overwhelming trust and only a fractured mandate makes it unlikely for Modi 3.0 to change the constitution in any way, positive or negative. The very fundamental safeguards designed by Dr. BR Ambedkar w.r.t reaching the 2/3rds majority mark and the differences of cultures across the length and breadth of India make the changing of the constitution extremely difficult.

This is exactly the problem as a few judges of the SC define what is the will of the people. It is the parliament who has this mandate of the people and not the SC.

I am sick of the anti people argument of Tehseen and the SC - “basic structure of the Constitution”. What is the basic structure, and who defines it? Not by those self selected, unaccountable fellows sitting in the Supreme Court ! The Constitution has been given by the people, to the people of India. It is only the peoples representatives who can define fundamental aspects of our Constitution. No one else. And definitely not by that joker Pappu and people of his ilk. Muslims in India as a unified community, their determination needs to be lauded. They left no stone unturned to bring down the NaMo govt in 2024 👍👍 There is no gap between their conceptualization, strategy & execution of their game plan. Their leaders decided for them where their votes should be cast and without any confusion or hesitation they did exactly that. Just to give you some background about their collective strength, even in in 1946, when there was no social media communication, they polled 96% for the partition of India on religious lines. If the Election Commission is to be commended for executing the world's largest elections, Indian Muslims have to be lauded for the biggest execution of en bloc voting in the world. Increase in Prices of Fuel, Onion/ Potato, LPG cylinders. Poor infrastructure, lack of civic facilities like sanitation,water etc etc, a fraction of which is enough to sway a normal Hindu voter, however these things never swayed the Muslim voter. Summer heat, which stops the Hindu voters from venturing out to vote, didn't deter the Muslim voters. Nor did they take leaves to go for a vacation during elections. They ensures that their community members living abroad also came back to cast their vote. They were focused on the task entrusted to them "Kuch Bhi Karo, Par NaMo ko Hatao" The candidate selection done by their religious leaders never seems to deter the Muslim voters. Even if they do not like the candidate, they never hesitate to punch the button for the party that is favourable to their religion. While Hindu voters are giving imaginary justifications on how they felt that the BJP let Hindu voters down and hence they wanted to punish the BJP. It's like cutting the nose to spite the face😕😕 Hindus need to understand the irreversible damage they have done to their own credibility and existence by this verdict. No political party in future will ever bank on them and instead appease the Muslim voters instead for future elections. The Hindu's can kiss goodbye to any dream's that they may harbour about Kashi and Mathura beyond 2034 or probably it may never ever be taken up. The Muslim community has simply repeated a consistent pattern which makes them a formidable vote bank, this pattern of voting is not restricted to India only. It is all over the world. Which makes them the darling of any political party that wants to be in power. NaMo took on the Impossible task of revival of hindutva and almost succeeded but was horribly let down by a bunch of selfish and ungrateful folks in 2024.😕😕😕😕
