I had that same problem but it is all about being outnumbered, what I did is desperately stick with my teammates and made a constant effort to always stay in a pack to counter being ganged up on.

Actually it is a pretty good game. The combat is satisfying and the introduction to know gadgets and abilities throughout the game helps to achieve the magalavania genre, and keep the games combat refreshing. The story, while not amazing, does have its moments and the games boss fights can be challenging and fun
