How fun! We went to the ABCs (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao +St Martin) leaving from SJ the month before Hurracane Maria! Of all those lovely islands we visited, I still feel Puerto Rico is the best!

My family and I took a Royal Caribbean cruise out of San Juan back in the summer of 2018. Flew into San Juan and stayed at the Sheraton San Juan Convention Center the night before our cruise. The morning before boarding, we went to the Walmart in Santurce (it is three stories) and my family thought it was awesome. Of course, acted like the tourist we were and had to take photos of the escalator. The cruise was great, but the highlight for me was when we returned to San Juan and had five hours before our flight. I had arranged through a co-worker from our office in Hato Rey to have his cousin drive us around San Juan. I had been so many times, but with my family, I could finally show them where I went when I travel to Puerto Rico for work. The best part was walking around Old San Juan. We are planning to return sometime soon and just spend it on the island.

¿Hey que la que hay? I went to Aruba for 1 week all inclusive like 18 years ago in May when I was in my late teens lol. How time flyes! Very nice place and nice memories! I remember when they did a night show by la playa. I haven't been there ever since so I wonder how much it changed.

That looks so beautiful, it does kind of remind me of when I went to PR, the beaches in Arecibo had really fine sand like that when we went. I really need to go back to PR, I was there for a week but we didn't even scratch the surface. Great video thanks Ana!

Thanks, yes, PR is a place with so many places to visit and experience, plus lots of food to taste.

Thanks for the vid. We will be on the EPIC this Sunday for the same cruise, though stopping in Bonaire, not Grenada. You mentioned you took a different bus on the way back to port? Was that because the city bus was not running anymore or you just didn't want to wait for it? I hear it's only about a 10-15 minute ride to get to Eagle beach from the port....true?
@AnaSantapau Жыл бұрын
Yes , it’s a short ride. We didn’t want to wait because it was about to rain.

So I’m taking this cruise in December. I’m taking it for seven days. How was your trip all over all some tips please thank you.
@AnaSantapau9 ай бұрын
Yes mine was seven days as well, it was good, at day 4 or 5 we were like Ugh we want to be home it felt long, but it was a good experience. I would recommend to plan ahead what you are going to do in each town.

How can you say that the ocean is RUFF when the waves are ONLY 8 INCHES HIGH?!? What would say when the waves are 8 FEET HIGH (like in Belmar, New Jersey)???
@AnaSantapau Жыл бұрын
Because the beach in Aruba was pulling me in and all of a sudden splashing us hard on the shore , which I grew up in the calm beaches on the a west side of Puerto Rico. It’s a relative /perspective .
