Basically 'Taupe' is for cool-toned blondes and the 'Blonde' is for warm-toned blondes.

Well cool toned blondes are platinum or have an ashy undertone to their hair. And warm toned blondes have a strawberry blonde, almost ginger brown understone to their hair. But it depends on what your preferences are. I have platinum blonde hair but have ashy brown eyebrows so I prefer Taupe better.

you have to be careful with the taupe because it can almost look green on people who have any warmth in their skin at all...it isn't just hair color but skin color that matters as well when deciding.

Being a cosmetologist myself I would suggest that as long as you are wearing your eyeliner that dark that you use the taupe brow color as the blonde brow color is too different from the eyeliner so that it makes the eyeliner too harsh. The darker brow provides a better transition from your hair color to your eyeliner color. Now if you went with a lighter more natural eyeliner the lighter brow would be a better balance. If I were to do your makeup I would have you in the lighter liner and brow for day and the darker for going out or evening.

When I color I have cool toned blondes blended with my natural hair. So I’m always pondering over blonde vs taupe brow products. In this case I’m going with the taupe. Thanks a lot!

Same problem here. It's so difficult, i've done the paper test and my skin looks more yellow when compared to white, but in many other tests it says i'm cool (my veins both look green and blue). I feel that a mix of these two colors would look way better for us neutrals, these two are too far apart.

When you outline with this product you want to outline from the bottom first starting just before your arch to the end, then take the remainder of that and feather the rest of the line. Top line, start in the same area. Just before the arch to the tip, fill it in. Feather the inner corners to create a natural fade. Do not fill in the rest of the top line. Do not block it off. Match the inner edge to your tear duct with your brush handle.

I agree the blonde works better for you. I found the taupe was better for me, but my hair is a little darker. I also use an angled brush, but I find the stiffer the brush, the better. I don't have as much fine control with a softer brush. Less is definitely more with this product and brushing it through with a spoolie brush is a must!

My hair has a light golden brown-ish color. At Sephora, I tried both the taupe and blonde. With my hair, I first thought I'd probably need the blonde color, but it looked too orange-y on me! The taupe does have cooler undertones, but I feel like it balances everything out and looks better on me without being too orange-y like the other color. Anyway, there's my two cents :) I'd recommend trying on the colors so you know for sure which you need!

I don't think you can say the 'undertone' is blonde. Theyre both blonde but with one warmer undertone and the other cooler. With that said, the warmer one def makes your face pop more, whereas the cooler one makes the eyebrow itself pop off your face - hint: the former is what I prefer. :)

I think both look good , if you wanna go natural go for blonde and a bit more statement use the taupe, you probablu dont like taupe because youre not used to that look but it definitely works on you because the base of your hair is dark blonde.

I like this product, but torn between dark brown and chocolate. As you said with the more ashy color, it works well with some grey hairs (dark brown is ashy, while chocolate is warm to red). On you, the blonde looks good as a daytime color, while the taupe would probably really work well for nights out on the town and formal wear (it's a bit more of a dramatic look on you, yet very nice!). Don't forget that you can always use this product as an eyeliner, also. Thank you!

This is exactly what I have been looking for, because I have really cool toned hair (and also skin.) and I find that most eyebrow products are too warm and look unnatural on me. So I would do the exact opposite of what you did and go for taupe, but for you, I think blonde is a much better choice. Once again, thanks!

I think that the blonde color looks slightly more natural, so I would use that one during the day. I think the taupe color would look better going out at night as it's darker and gives more definition, imho. But it is a really close call!

I really needed this video, I have been trying to decide what color to get myself only my problem is that my hair is naturally and highlighted blonde and my eyebrows are dark ash blonde. So, I am really not sure what color to get considering my eyebrows are a few shades darker than my actual hair.

The blonde definitely looks more natural on you. My tip for filling your brows in is to not outline the tail after the arch before filling it in. Let it taper off a bit thinner for the most natural look. :)

I think that if you carve out the top arch first then start filling in the end and when it's filled in draw a small line underneath your brow and using a spoolie or you fingers to fade the proct up xx

I like the taupe on you better, because you have fair skin. I'm a little bit darker than you with olive undertone so for me works best Blonde. Blonde is a warm color and works with warm skin tone. Taupe. goes well with cool undertone like you. Do you see how Blonde shows a little bit to orange? This is my opinion ... thank you so much for showing the both next to each other. i think taupe suits you best. i think you should extend your tail downwards more for a better definition, and i would start underlining underneath first and brushing the product up into the upper brow. hope i helped!

Thank you for making this I've bought taupe colored brow pencils for the longest and I've been wanting to invest in anastasia brow pomade and even though I'm naturally brunette taupe has always been the best brow color for me because unless I'm tan darker colors on my eyebrows just don't look right with my fair skin but I think anastasias taupe will probably look ok. Maybe ulta will let me test the color on my brows lol

I use the Taupe color. I love it!! I have medium brown hair and honey blonde highlights. It looks great with my hair color. Very natural looking. I also have olive complexion. However, I get a tan in the summer months living in Texas. My tan lasts until November. Lol. It's hot and humid down here most of the year. I love this video!! Thank you!! ❤

Hi love!! This video really helped me as I was going to purchase the taupe colour! Like you I have really fine eyebrow hairs which are barely noticeable, possibly less than you do! When I fill my brows in I start by outlining it, but I start by underlining the bottom rather than the top, then pushing the product upwards. It achieves a more natural look, hope that helped you!! this is an old video i know but the blonde looks way more natural on you but if you still have them both you can always mix! closer in towards the inner portion should be lighter, and tail darker. you can do a blend of them together.

Blonde is better. Try the no. 7B brush, much finer, and try the micro blading technique. Your brows look fine, but this technique works much nicer.

I think it would have been better to actually see your hair like near your brows?... Like I feel like with your hair pulled back like that you could put either one and it wouldn't really matter but if you maybe wore your hair down one of the colors might look a bit funny. I have light brown hair with highlights and got soft brown but it's a lot the dark for me I think I need taupe. Although soft brown from anastasia is better match than any other brand. Definitely for summer need taupe I believe I get my hair darker for winter so hopefully soft brown grows on me.

Genny Lily i ended up getting soft Brown before seeing this I had ordered it and it's dark so I got taupe and it's lighter but still has an ashy brown color it actually matches my brows perfectly. This video helped me alot!!!

Nice video! Just a tip, with the eyebrow you used "taupe" on, you should try making the inner part of the eyebrow more square instead of rounded. It makes so much of a difference!

My seller girl in the beauty shop teached me how to use and apply this product like this: take some product on your pencil, then close jar and put all you can on the top of the jar. Then use that top as your palette. Take little bits to first, outline the bottom of your eyebrow (try to follow your natural brow line, even if you've lost some hairs with the years). And then fill up your brow as light as possible, and try to draw in some fake hairs where they're missing. Swap off the remaining product from the top and put back in jar. Use rubbing alcohol to clean pencil and top of jar afterwards on a cotton thingie. Sorry for my english but I hope it helps some of you

The blonde is better w your skin tone and hair. The heavy black eyeliner makes your eye look hard and suites the taupe more which I think is aging. Great to see the two side by side. Very helpful.

I'm actually blonde and it's near impossible to get an eyebrow color to match since the hair on my eyebrows is literally white. The rest of my hair is normal shades of blonde but my eyebrows stayed bleach blonde.
