Beautiful repaint! Only thing for me is her skin after is too light for Moana, I think the original skin tone would have been a better fit. But over all this design is awesome and came out great!

Well, the original skin tone is too dark the brown is actually pretty different from Moana and the peach is too light a mixture of the two would have made a perfect tone btw the lighting of the camera makes the brown look lighter

I really wanna like this. I want to so badly. The hair looks good. The face is so on point. It looks just like her. But you picked a doll that already had a lighter skin tone than Moana and you made her lighter. I dunno if we watched the same movie but Moana is Samoan. She is not this light. I don't understand why you picked a brown doll only to make her lighter. It bothers me more than it should. It's just a doll. But it's so hard to just ignore it. I don't like that. I'm sorry, I just can't get behind this one.

What you call "white washing" does not exist in France, so I did not know it existed. I only wanted to do light spots (like it or not, it's my way of working). I apologize if I offended you, but again, the practice of white wishing is unknown here in France. In any case I wanted not to hide the dark skin of Moana. Thank you.

Anastazia Custom The fact that you responded to me at all in the first place means a lot to me. I understand that maybe it's not that common where you're from and maybe I just need to understand that. Just because it's an issue where I live doesn't mean it's commonly talked about where you live. I'm sure you've gotten enough angry comments for this as it is and I understand that your intentions weren't anything made through race or skin issues. I love this ❤️ I think the skin tone is a little too light, and that the original would have worked best, but she’s beautiful anyway. From what I saw, it looked like it was meant to be a highlighting technique and it just went slightly awry, regardless the warrior take on Moana is beautiful (and I know some fairer Pacific Islanders so it’s still somewhat accurate). You did a wonderful job anyway though ❤️

She does appear quite light but you'll notice with the filming of all Anastazia Custom vids that a very cool ambient lighting is used. It gives the dolls a glowy appearance as well as making the appear lighter in tone

She is stunning. Thank you for the English captioning. A tip for splitting yarn. Pinch one segment between your thumb and forefinger. With your thumb and first two fingers of the other hand lightly pinch, not at all tightly. Then pull the single strand. It will pull out easily while the others scrunch up. Once the single strand is free, they will straighten out again and you can repeat the process until all strands are free. It causes less breakage this way. Hope that helps.

Not gonna lie, I kind of felt disrespected when you lightened Moana's skin color... As a mixed Hawaiian and Mexican, I am as dark tanned as her, but you went overboard lightening her up as opposed to just adding highlights. I'm still a huge fan of your repaints, and i still left a like on the video because the rest was fine, but don't lighten up dark skinned dolls in the future ^-^
