This is the album of my life. It was an important part of me growing up. No shit. I don't follow Anathema anymore, but this is, no doubt, the soundtrack of my youth. The album I have listened to the most: and it still is!

@FranStoker Totally disagree. I dropped Opeth for 8 years and now I really enjoy the Sorceress and probably will the new album, however things between Ghost Reveries up to now will rest in oblivion. Katatonia, live-wise, are super awesome. Records - quite quite 7/10. That's just natural thhat they don't want to stay in the same place. New (2010+) Anathema sucks for me, still, but maybe I'll see something in those records. Both of you have old ones to listen to. there is no need for new ones to come. move on. Not every band has ended on kill'em all ;) Steven Wilson was also better within Porcupine Tree, but what the heck, he has done hell of a good record lately. Enjoy the present and the future, embrace the music from the past, since it's bloody good

Unfortunately many metalheads are not into progress... "The Silent Enigma" is less Death-Metal and one step further to their great influence Pink Floyd. But you are not alone, many of my friends who are very into Death/Doom really appreciate Anathemas work, from "An Iliad of Woes" to "Judgement". From there on opinions differ... :D
